    A former British prison that is now a shrine to the political dissidents it once jailed, it is a place worth visiting to understand the important space the Andamans occupy in India’s national memory.

    A must visit destination! Memorable landmark of freedom struggle. The place witnesses huge crowd on almost all days. A Light & Sound Show is organized in the evening around 6. Salute to the Fighters!

    Don't use a guide, computers give you all the details. start with the two display rooms on either side as you enter. This gives you a brief history about the cellular jail.
