Breakfast fried bee hoon. Predictably tasty from this Hup Lee outlet. The kitchen here fries the bee hoon oily. Fried chicken wing has crispy batter. Base price of bee hoon now $1.20. This costs $3.10

Besides the 'chai tow kway' (fried carrot cake) & chicken rice, the fishball noodle is pretty good too (albeit salty)

Consistently good, thick kopi peng with a tiny hint of bitterness. Note that if you ask for siu dai, it can turn out quite siap.

Kopi is bitter but lacks aroma. Ordered Kopi-O kosong ‘di lok’ (undiluted, $1.20) to test, but cuppa was not thick
