Free wifi! Must-gets for non-spicy fans of lamb: 1) deep fried sesamelamb chops (with the sauce) 2) lambwonton in hotpot (soup) 3) BBQ lamb leg to share 4) beef/lamb pancake 5) Melaleuca lamb
Hand made noodles w/lamb really good. Not much smoky wok flavour, but sauce very tasty. Hand made noodle soup w/beef good. Soup tasty. But not much beef. The hand made noodles have good chewy texture
The lamb skewers are really good - not too charred & tender. Beef was good too. Tofu was great - very tender yet not falling apart. Though some may find it too salty/intensely cumin flavoured
Everything is good here! Get the lamb dishes for something different (house specialty), especially the dumplings. If you get anything spicy, prepare to taste some fire.
The eggplant is to die for. Anything spicy is delicious. Ox tongue so rich make sure you have enough people to share with. Lambpancakes are great to takeaway.
Lambvermicelli soup (Guilin style) was tasty. Preserved vegetable added nice tang. Fried lamb w/bread had decent sauce & bread was very crispy. Even after I let it soak a bit, still a little too hard
Fried tofu with house style sauce: Tofu was quite silky yet did not break. The sauce was ok: just a spicy sauce. Crispy tofu bits were nice. You get a 5% cash discount. The place is pretty cheap.
Vermicelli soup with beef (guilin noodles) a bit diluted, no preserved vegetables (guilin style is meant to have). Asked for it to be less spicy; had a bit of a numbing spicy taste & was bland overall
BBQ lamb skewers quality fell. Meat not that good quality (some tendon) & taste too mild. House style cold noodle: ok noodles (could be more slippery). Sauce ok. No tofu like in the picture.
