    Built in 1948 for Racing Club de Bruxelles, the stadium has a capacity of 40000, making it Belgium's second largest. After the opening game, it has never been filled to its maximum capacity anymore.

    AC Torino, one of the best clubs at that time, was invited to play the first game in the stadium on 11/11/1948, only a few months before all players of Il Grande Torino died in a plane crash.
