Used to come here a lot as a kid, and I highly recommend the concrete slide (bring cardboard to slide down) and the carousel! This is apparently the oldest public playground in the US.
Massive playground in Golden Gate Park with tons of different play structures, a water/sand area and a great, albeit slightly dangerous concrete slide (use cardboards to slide).
Large playground with large climbing structures, cement slide (bring a cardboard box) and sand play areas. Open space with a carousel and food stand and some shady area on the perimeter. Kids love it!
be sure to bring a spare change of clothes on a hot day! splash around and enjoy the water feature while soaking in some rays in a really lovely playground.
Picnic tables near the carousel and playground can be reserved by calling 415-831-5500. Tell them you want the “Barnyard picnic tables” near the children’s playground. Powered by ParentsConnect.com Read more
