This is one of my top ten hawker centres to go to in Singapore. Wide array of stalls selling all kinds of delicious hawker food, you'll be spoilt for choice. Check the army market on 3rd floor after.

Kedongdong juice. Get this unique ice-blended drink from Rong Hua #B1-08. A rare find. Also known as umbra (or "ampulla" in Penang), the drink is from a local fruit that is sweet-sour & slightly tart
Possibly the best pastry I've eaten this year. Love the oozing goodness of their lava baguette 'balls'. Enjoyed their chocolate lava & hazelnut lava flavours

Indonesian Nasi Anbeng. Tucked in a corner of the basement floor is Nasi Anbeng Nenek Leng #B1-01. Big rice portions but pricey dishes. This combo of chicken curry + brinjal sambal + begedil = $7.80!

Peranakan. Charlie's #B1-30 does not hv 1-person meals. They will sell you a dish perhaps, like this chicken rendang $8 + rice 50-cents. Although yummy, the portion can feed 2 persons
Specialty vadai (Indian 'donut'). The versions from The Vadai Shop #B1-32 is chewy (left). The one made from lentils (right) is small & flat. Pricey too: $0.90 instead of $0.50 in most places
Luroufan ($5.50). The presentation from Taiwan Fan Bao #01-102 appears more like caifan: wide plate, served with 2 vege dishes. Braised pork lacks the sweet aromatic spices. Egg is hard-boiled
Read a few reviews about the char kway teow at stall 91 so I went ahead and tried it. It is not too oily and it does come with a lot of vegetables. Not overly fantastic but still yummy.
Still one of my favorite spots in the country, wide variety of really good food stalls, check out Charlie's Perenakan, or any of the soup tulang stalls.
Roast meats. Choon Kee #01-74 prepares well-caramelised char siew (BBQ pork). Not overly fatty, the char was just nice. Sio bak (roast pork) was positively memorable too👍🏼
Best to eat chill with friends long lost friend here. Affordable price here to eat. Most chinese stalls closes at night. Best is the Indian stalls opens even at after hours.
Loads of good food here - Ashes Burnit for burgers, Oyster Boy for oyster cakes! The cheong funstall here is good too and so are the two Thai food stalls.
Try the Thai Experience @01-110. Fantastic red curry with pork/beef/chicken. Awesome pineapple rice too. Can't find anything that is not nice here! Must try!!!
Cendol ($2.50). Gula Melaka from Old Amoy Chendol #01-96 was too thick for my liking, thicker than typical honey! Otherwise green jelly & red bean were on point
If you're looking for some dessert after your meal, Zhao An Granny Grass Jelly will be ideal for you. Simply refreshing, with some toppings of your choice. Try the one with sea coconut. Thumbs up!
Luroufan (Taiwanese pork rice). Get this from Wei Li #01-65. $3.50 for a basic bowl — just pork & rice. No vege. The bowl tasted incomplete. Egg is +$1.50
