The big drawer is the outside seating and the atmosphere but you can sit inside to take in the vaulted sealing and access to quick service. The pretzels are fantastic. The hock is also great

Always quite busy so make a reservation if you can. It's no problem to have drinks at the bar first and wait for a table. Definitely try Tegernseer beer.

Great beer and great food. Schweinehaxen and Schweinsbrutl are the authentic choice, though make sure you have plenty of room in your belly. Also, the pretzels on the table are not free! €1.10 a piece
