The BEST late night eateries in town. So authentically Chinese, but also SO London. Order off the 'special' menu with Chinese writing on the back. Amazing Hot Pots.
Noodle soup and rice dishes in Chinese only menu. The stuff in English are main courses, suitable for family style dinners. Order the noodle soup or rice dish you want (wonton noodle) and it'll be ok.
Best value set menus in the area - great pre-theatre. Expect brusque service and hard wooden seats; this is about eating well and quickly, not lingering!
Bubble tea is nice, as are desserts. I was pleased to discover less sugar used than usual. They failed to mention beforehand that it's cash only under £10, forcing us to go withdraw round the corner.
Always order from the 'locals' menu located on each table, one side is written in Chinese with the English translation on the reverse. It features some excellent authentic dishes! ❤
This is our late night diner after a couple (too many) drinks in nearby Soho. Recommend: Fish tofu vegetable rice and Won ton noodle soup. Food (7/10), Service (8/10), Value (9/10) Read more
Great authentic Chinese food, though portions could be bigger. Not the best ambience or friendliest service, but would definitely go back for the food.
Tried to lunch here for CNY and waited over 30min for our food. The service here is very slow! I'd love to review the food but we cancelled our order and paid £8.50 for 2 small bowls of corn soup.
The food is the same as in the other Chinatown restaurants, prices are 30% higher. Avoid. If you do go, the "marvellous" salt and pepper squid is actually deep fried...
Atrocious service. Got a lashing by manager cos I criticised the food - I was raised in HK and a food/travel journo. No longer welcome there I was told. Food, aforementioned, was bad.
