Peninsular gneiss formation is also a tourist attraction at the gardens. It's on the Lal Bagh hill which is made up of 3,000 million-year-old peninsular gneissic rocks

Beautiful. So many species of birds. So much greenery. Going in the morning is advisable as the weather is nice and cool for the long walk ahead. Overly crowded during flower-shows though

Great place for a walk. Time goes unnoticed as we stroll through the greens, watching the very different species of trees and scintillating replicas of Red Fort and India Gate carved out of flowers.

This is a botanical garden that has clearly seen better days. An empty glass house. An unkempt badly made bonsai garden which is littered with examples of how not to make a bonsai are the highlights.
