Came here for brunch and had the bfast tacos... They were amazing. The grits were the best I had this NOLA trip. The sweets starters were also so delicious. Loved this place!

Perhaps the most innovative and delicious cocktails in town. Inexpensive fine dining experience focusing on locally sourced ingredients. Try the goat tacos and the grits. DON'T MISS!

Everything you love about NOLA -- adventurous cocktails, sophisticated food, beautiful people, attentive service -- with none of what you hate about NOLA (frat boys, neon drinks, tourists, etc.).

Maurepas Foods does quality fine dining food w/o any of the fuss or price. Like Dante's Kitchen, the focus is very much on the freshness of the ingredients, especially the veggies. [Eater 38 Member]

A trendy spot that actually lives up to the hype. Easily the best cocktails in the Marigny/Bywater. Great food with fresh ingredients. And oh god the desserts...

I'll remember it as one of the best restaurants I ate in in 2013: try the Myers lemon pie and tacos. Pickles for starters: try the mushrooms

If you go on a fishing charter, the chef will cook up your catch for you. Be sure to call the GM in advance, you will not be sorry. Everything here is A-MAZING.

Chicken here is amazing, along with it's accompanying grits. If you want a variant on the bloody mary, the sailors' breakfast is quite nice!

Don't be afraid to ask about portion sizes - not always obvious from the menu. Make sure you leave room for cookie sandwiches!

They make their own ginger beer so opt for a dark and stormy with black strap molasses rum. Also the grits are luxurious.

The cocktails were truly inventive- not takes on classics, but rather totally new concoctions. can only hope chefs/cocktail people come here & take ideas to reinterpret these 'classics' elsewhere.
