PONY DINING is a marvellous Australian Restaurant in Sydney’s The Rocks. Best brisket, best steak and best entree for 2018. Check out full review up on Spooning Australia.
The Roasted Cauliflower $12 is incredible, Woodfire Grilled Salmon $28 is tiny and overpriced, lunch special burger is good but the bun is very average, Good service, great atmosphere. Worth visiting.
Possibly the best scotch fillet I've ever eaten, the beans were perfectly cooked. Everything was delicious and the service impeccable. Highly recommended.
Make sure you book or be prepared to wait. Ever a favourite Pony's menu changes with a regularity that keeps even the locals interested. Good wine list-go buy the bottle and the beef cheek is gold
The food is always amazing, wood fire oven locks in all the juices of the fish and meats. Stafffriendly and helpful. Great vibe, schmick & classy but not arrogant and still relaxed. Impressive.
"can we order some wine?" "Oh, I'll come back for the wine." 25 min later, stop other waitress; order cab sav and Tempranillo; 5 min later "was that a Chardonnay?";10 min later bring Sav Blanc. WUT?
On Oct 2, The Pony barbecue will be on the cobblestone laneway of Argyle Street amid the bustle of the Saturday Rocks Market as part of the Crave Sydney International Food Festival. Read more
