Always busy. The kids park is overflowing but fab place to blow the cobwebs away and lots of peaceful side tracks

Brilliant dog walks - woods, river and waterfall trails and lots of open space. Don't let the dogs into the pond!

The walled garden is in the grounds of the former manor, Birkenshaw house. It was planned and planted by Walter Crum, as part of the program of landscaping in the estate undertaken between 1852-1893.

The park takes its name from the old "Rockandmyll" or Rock End Meal Mill used by farmers to grind their grain from the 12th to 19th Century. Read more

The Shangrila chinese restaurant by the Garden Centre- hard to communicate due to language barrier therefore got many orders wrong. Food was good.
