One of the nicest Starbucks in TO is an old bookstore, which ties in nicely to its location next to Toronto Reference Library. It's a little loud so I recommend going to Balzac's if you crave peace.
Best Starbucks interior space in all of Toronto. Former Albert Britnell Bookstore with original flooring, wooden wall fixtures, and one of two Clover Leaf Brewing machine in Canada. Lots is seating.
I've visited MANY SBKs in every province and this one is definitely in my top three! The Clover brewer is one of only 2 in Canada (the other is in BC)! Try it with the "Komodo Dragon" for a kickstart!
if you have the money to become a regular they'll customize your takeout cup....that's all. but it's a good mainstreem cafe. Their brew is strong if you're into that. Lattes are well done (F. Vanilla)
This is the former Albert Britnell book store. Thus locals often call this location the Britnell's. Much of the wood finishing and decor are from the original store.
This is one of two Starbucks in Canada with the clover brewing system. Thy said - I'd never know it as the clover sign is after the cash and so I keep forgetting to purchase.
Service is great here! - But there are never any seats. It's always packed, even in the middle of the day when you'd expect less of a crowd. I don't want to feel like a vulture waiting to sit... :(
This place can get super sketchy with homeless people sleeping on the couches and abusing staff. This guy threw a cup of hot water at one of the baristas.
