The only way to get close to the Statue of Liberty right now. Don't be scammed by the street teams selling tickets. This is free and fun. If you have time tour Staten Island too. Did I mention: Free!

This quintessential Staten Island ferry boat is the best of the fleet. The long wooden rows are the most comfortable, allowing for more space and character. Fuck the puke colored 1970s seats on others

FREE ride round trip. A great cheap way to see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island on drive-bys, and stellar views of downtown Manhattan from the water. Best tourist ride in NYC!

There ARE outlets for charging especially for I-pods and I-phones, IF you look in front of the food stand (heading to staten island) in the middle next to the pillar its tucked inside a metal cover.

Bathroom shitters don't have doors. If u got to drop a rope better be comfortable military style. I had unfortunate pleasure of walking past dudes taking a shit. It was definitely an award moment.

People that don't like this boat are either dead inside or have no sense of history. Check out the layers of carved graffiti - decades of feuds and lovers.

The seats are surprisingly more comfortable than the new class of boats. It's the angle, I guess?

I like these outdoor decks the best. More than even the newer boats.

The oldest boat on the fleet, still going strong since 1965... The last of its class.

Somehow, I always end up on this particular Ferry. Seriously 90% of my SI Ferry trips were on JFK.

Von Manhatten aus nach Staten Island. Den besten Blick hat man vom Heck aus auf downtown Manhatten und man sieht die Statue of Liberty. Kostenlos!
