The best maidrites in the state. No fries, no frills, and they won't apply the ketchup for you. Sit at the counter and go back in time. The malts are to die for!
We visited website first, saw 5 diff sandwiches and 10 diff sides. This location doesn't do all that. ONE sandwich (w cheese or w/o) and ONE side. That's it. It's good food! But know before you go.
Not part of the Maid Rite franchise. Apparently the third Maid Rite opened here in Marshalltown in 1928 (down the road, but moving to this location in the 1950s). This one remains family owned.
