- Denissa GohNovember 21, 2015Char siew bao is like a mix between a real bao and roti boy! Beancurd w shrimp is good too! And chef's recommendation for the shrimp & jackfruit dumpling is good too! 😋 pricey but good quality!
- Luis W.April 19, 2015The Dim Sum very fresh and tasty! Is different from usual dim sum restaurant found in Malaysia. Please try the prawn dumpling (hargao) and pork dumpling with shrimp (siumai)! Also fried carrot cake!
- Sin WeiJuly 25, 2015Very tasty & nice food, all are good. You may find the price is above average, but the food quality is also above average. Worth to come again 👍🏻
- Chestal PotatoNovember 8, 2015Baked bun with BBQ Pork, pork dumpling with shrimp, glutinous rice with lotus leaf are great. Don't order pan fried carrot cake, wasabi salad prawn dumpling and vermicelli roll with pig's liver.
- Jessie TehDecember 26, 2014Recommend the Char siew bao, wasabi prawn dumplings, rice with chicken, sausage & mushroom & pork ribs with bb sauce! Both music & chatters contributed to the noisy environment!! Will come b again.
- Ev3y 媚 ™November 26, 2014The most famous HK dim sum 添好運 TimHoWan finally came to KL. Personal recommended the Baked Bun w BBQ Pork, Braised Chicken Feet w Abalone Sauce & Ha Gao.
- Wei Wei WongDecember 9, 2014Needless to say, must order baked bun with BBQ pork, can skip the siu Mai, is normal. Highly recommend wasabi salad prawn dumpling, every single bite is filled with juicy bouncy prawn
- Stewart TanSeptember 26, 2015The roasted pork bun is the trademark dish! Do try the shrimp dumplings as well, a truly delectable selection of dim sum!
- Leon MahNovember 29, 2014Almost everything here is fantastic but my personal fav definitely are the baked bun wif bbq pork, rice wif beef & fried egg n mango sago pomelo!
- Jo RohanApril 29, 2015Pricey but the food and service is excellent although I personally don't think it's worth lining up for lunch or dinner to have dim sum. Eating here for Tea would be ideal.
- Bin ZhangNovember 30, 2014Dim Sum here is really yummy, but long queue(at least 30 mins) is expected. For the price, it's in the top range in the Dim Sum category. Most of them are around RM8-12. It'll cost RM70+- for a couple.
- Filip S.March 14, 2015Nice dim sums, good prices, long queues, service still learning but overall this is my second best dim sum joint in KL!!!!
- Chin SMMarch 31, 2015Make sure you try their signature fried char siu bao. It's the best item on their menu.
- Charlotte GDecember 2, 2014H1 Baked bun with bbq pork, H2 pan fried carrot cake, H3 steamed egg cake, V7 vermicelli roll with sweet and sesame sauce, D16. These r yummy.
- Jack LNNovember 29, 20141.service~overall OK, except and be aware of the 'tommy' head ushering at the entrance, she is quite impolite and impatient. Ask her more questions and you will get it from her. 2.char siew Bao-Good!
- Joachim OoiJanuary 15, 2016My friend asked me to only try their Baked Bun with BBQ Pork. It's really life-changing! The bun has a strong buttery taste. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
- SinLinDecember 18, 2014The char Siew bao is damn nice!! Must try!! Also the osmanthus cake!! Overall food is ok, but the music a bit loud ! As well as limited choice for food...
- Kye Lin LungMay 23, 2015Just come for this and your life is complete! Their Siew Mai and Har Kao is not bad too, juicy fillings!
- eunice-anneFebruary 19, 2016Always so many people. Pricey but food are very good. The char siew bao is a must try!
- Justin YapMay 31, 2015For a well-known dim sum chain from HK, am kinda let down by their limited choices. Most friends and foodies have left less-than-glowing reviews that this branch should be receiving.
- Art KendoFebruary 9, 2015I could live of Baked Bun with BBQ Pork! It's like a char siew filled roti!
- Chin SMMarch 31, 2015Their other signature dishes. Fried carrot cake, steamed egg cake and chee cheong fun.
- CazzCasper 💬💕January 4, 2015The actual business hour for Tim Ho Wan is Monday to Thursday 10.00am to 10.00pm & Friday to Sunday is from 9am to 10pm.
- Zoe JwenSeptember 25, 2015All the dim sum is so special and delicious! But the 桂花糕 is too sweet for me.😉
- Kah KarJanuary 17, 2015This bbq pork bun is unique, unlike those usual steam one in dimsum restaurant...
- Eli HorneFebruary 2, 2015Their Hong Kong "pineapple bun" style bao looks different than your usual bao, but it's delicious.
- Shirley NgMarch 27, 2016Shud have a try on the chrysanthemum dessert it takes away the oiliness of the char Siew bao
- Jean YongNovember 29, 2014Good food but not worth for the queue, go at odd hours so that the queue is shorter. Try char siew bao, ha gao, cheong fun, fried shrimp dumplings with wasabi sauce.
- Yin LingJuly 17, 2016My favourite Char Siew Pau has reduced in terms of filling. The pastry is still Damn good though.
- Ai Phing GohApril 17, 2015Two words: seriously over-rated. If this is the good dim sum everyone is raving when they're in HK, I don't know what to say.
- J KDecember 26, 2014Quality same with SG outlet! Good atmosphere with Canton pop like Sam Hui! Really like eating in HK!
- Teh CelineDecember 15, 2014The music seriously too loud. You need to shout to talk. But! This is the best "char siew pau" I ever ate!😍
- Gilbert TanJuly 1, 2016I don't know how they can get the Michelin Star. There are many normal Tim Sum Restaurant in Melaka that can win them flat out.
- Joe SeahMarch 22, 2015BBQ pork bun quality totally different from Hong Kong. It's overly sweet. Rest of dim sum standard taste. Doesn't deserve the attention it gets
- Peikyi Aw 👑March 2, 2015The cha siew pau is really nice. It feel like you eating roti boy bun when you bite it
- Chester TanJanuary 21, 2015BBQ Pork Bun is the only one. I will said the price is quite expensive for small pieces of dim sum. Maybe once a while can here , other wise I think other place can offer more better choice dim sum
- Angeline WongMarch 11, 2015My best dim sum experience in my life. Cha siew bao is a must!! Drool die me
- Queue may seems long but the waiting time is actually ok, it's just that some people love to queue in groups instead of sending a representative 😑
- Susan YeeJuly 1, 2016Best Baked BBQ Bun i ever taste! Heard they In-House Made Fresh Dim Sum Everyday! Must try dishes: Baked Bun with BBQ Pork,Steamed Egg Cake! Cheapest Michelin Shop! Definitely will come back for more!
- 🌛 FOXXHUI 🌞May 22, 2016Overrated and (freaking) overpriced for such dim sum! Limited choice of dim sum, taste is below average! Char siu pao just soso.Forget about this place, this ain't a place for proper and good dim sum.
- Min Huang ChuaDecember 10, 2016The BBQ Pork Bun is nothing to rave about, with paparoti bun like texture (too sweet in THW). The BBQ pork itself lacks aroma. Would give a 6/10 for this dish. Porridge is bland. Otherwise, it's okay.
- JulzNovember 30, 2014Food is fresh and taste good. However, I wouldn't recommend going on weekend as there are too many ppl. It took them a long time to serve you tea. Music is a bit too loud too.
