- The permanent exhibit of Medieval European Art is in a quiet, less traveled corner of the museum. Nonetheless, the objects on display are powerful, substantial and beautiful.

- In the Medieval/Middle Ages exhibit, I felt a surprising constancy of human endeavor (born or propelled, I think, by faith) that was not belied by the traumas and tribulations of those dark centuries.

- Hollywood Costume Exhibit is fun for film fans. Up until Feb. You can go through it in about an hour.
