Services
Swim Wear Comes in All Shapes and Sizes
Swimmers who wish to cover themselves may do so provided the clothing is safe, clean and light in colour. Keep your street clothes and shoes safe in our convenient change room lockers.
Dive In
To ensure the safety of fellow swimmers please dive in designated zones only and save your front flips, back flips, cartwheels, spins and/or backwards jumps for the olympics.
Pace, or Race, Yourself
Swimmers of all abilities are welcome to come out and lane swim but please, swim responsibly between the lines.
Lane and Public Swim
Check out our daily schedule to find out what's happening in the pool monday through sunday. The hot tub, steam room and tot’s pool are available at all times. Use of the lanes, main pool and/or the deep end may be shared (restricted or reduced) to accommodate swim lessons, aqua fitness classes and/or leadership programs. But don’t be shy – there’s room for everyone!
Deep Water Fitness (Beginner/Intermediate)
A low impact deep water workout suitable for all levels and abilities. Participants may modify the intensity with the use of a buoyancy aid. Program incorporates cardio vascular fitness, fat burning, muscle conditioning, and toning.
Families That Swim Together, Stay Together
A responsible swimmer 14 years or older (wearing appropriate swim attire) must be within arms reach of children under nine. Six to eight year olds who have passed our swim test may be supervised from within the pool area. Ask a lifeguard or swim instructor for more information.
Stroller Parking Is Free
Families are welcome to watch their swimmers from designated viewing areas. Please park your stroller before entering the change rooms and pool deck to ensure a safe and clean environment for all swimmers.
Stay Hydrated
When swimming, bring your water in a plastic container. Food and all other drinks can be shared in designated viewing areas and/or in our cafe areas.
Healthy Waters
Help us keep our pool safe by taking a shower before entering. And don’t forget your tiny tot’s suit: swim diapers and plastic pants are required for the diaper-wearing crowd.
Aqua Fitness Classes
Participants must be 16y or older. Youth 12y–15y may participate if accompanied by an adult.
Shallow Water Fitness (Beginner/Intermediate)
A shallow water fitness program suitable for all levels and abilities incorporating cardiovascular fitness, fat burning, muscle conditioning, and toning.

Arenas
Cardel place offers year-round skate and shinny drop-in opportunities. Join us for a game of non-contact shinny or enjoy a leisurely skate around one of our two nhl-sized arenas. To book an arena for a birthday party, corporate outing or a friendly game of shinny please view our facility rentals page. Adult shinny spots can be reserved online.

Child Minding
Parents are welcome to bring their children (3m - 9y) to be cared for while using the amenities at cardel place. Top quality care is provided with activities including story time, crafts, music and movement.

Climbing Wall
Our climbing wall stands almost 30 feet tall and has a nine foot bouldering area. Bring clean, indoor climbing or running shoes and we’ll supply the rest!
A Belay Check and Waiver
Are required prior to using the wall. Belay checks are available during drop-in hours on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants Under
18y must obtain authorization from a parent or guardian.
Please Wear Clean
Indoor running or climbing shoes. Equipment package includes harness, belay device, carabiner and optional helmet.

Waivers May Be
Printed and signed at home and brought into the facility.
Children
13y and under must be supervised at all times by a responsible climber 14y or older. Exceptions may be made for participants who have completed the jr. climbing program.
Belay Cards and Climbing Waivers Must Be Renewed Yearly.
Fitness Class Descriptions
'Ab'solute Core (All Levels)
Tone, strengthen and whittle your middle in this 20-minute workout. Reap the benefits of a more stable and balanced body.
Bosu Blast (Intermediate)
Prepare for ultimate conditioning using strength and cardio, combined with the added challenge of the bosu ball! May also include some step intervals.
Fundamental Family Fitness
Get fit as a family and start your path to wellness. Our certified trainers set-up a fun, safe circuit for families, aimed at developing balance, strength and flexibility.
Hiit
High intensity interval training is the'express lane' to fat burning! Using cycle drills at a high intensity, you can achieve maximum results.
Krank - (Intermediate/Advanced)
Riders, are you tough enough to handle this intense cycle workout? Advanced components including intervals, hills and sprints.
Power Yoga (All Levels)
Link postures together, connecting breath and movement in this short, intense session.
Stacked (All Levels)
Shave off fat and carve out muscle! Each week the format changes to stimulate fat burning and muscle toning.
Sweat and Steel (Beginner/Intermediate)
This intense circuit rotates through cardio and strength stations using a variety of equipment for a total body workout.
Turbo Krank and Core (Beginner/Intermediate)
40 minutes of intense spinning followed by 20 minutes of core.
Zumba Toning (All Levels)
Join the party and take it to the next level with dumbbells.
Baby and You Bootcamp (All Levels)
Bring baby and meet other new moms in this energetic class which couple cardiovascular drills with strength training exercises. Your stroller, various resistance equipment, and even baby are used as an integral part of the workout. Participants require a 6-week postnatal check up before participating.
Chisel (All Levels)
A fusion of cardio and strength! This ever-evolving class uses a variety of equipment for aerobic endurance and muscle sculpting.
Gently Fit (Beginner)
Strength and cardio components that can be modified to suit individual fitness levels. In conjunction with the living well maintenance program.
Intro Hatha Yoga (Beginner)
Actively participate in this introductory hath yoga class to energize yourself with a variety of relaxing postural movements.
Mixed Level Yoga
Link postures together, connecting breath with movement. Deepen awareness of your body as you work according to the limits of your individual flexibility and strength.
Rear Assets (All Levels)
Get your ‘rear in gear’ with a workout of epic proportions! It’s an interval cardio and muscle shocking class.
Step and Sculpt (All Levels)
A great combination of step aerobics and strength conditioning.
Turbo Krank (All Levels)
Intense cycle workout. Burst of cardio on keiser m3 bikes.
Zumba (All Levels)
Combination of fitness and dance. Fusion of latin rhythms and easy to follow moves for an exhilarating cardio workout.
