- MarekApril 10, 2015Expect to see a lot of startup folk here. Their pour over from Ethiopia-sourced beans was the best coffee I've ever had - strong but smooth, with perfect balance of earthy and flowery flavors. Bliss.
- Joshua HaftelJanuary 15, 2015The coffee was good and the space was excellent. Great feeling with actually nice art (not the typical coffee shop art, there's some real curating going on here). My favorite coffee spot now in BOS.
- AntonioApril 20, 2015Great coffee selection and interesting crêpes / sandwich and amazing decorations. Perfect for caffeinated work. Coffee tends to be overpriced, compared to nearby competitors (such as Tatte's).
- Best coffee spot in Cambridge (and dare I say Boston?). Hotbed of startup folks (VC's, entrepreneurs, and everyone in between). Go for the Beyond the Sea or the Thieving Magpie (both lattes).
- Christopher NguyenJune 19, 2012If you really want something really different then try their teas. Their bud in a glass of hot water eventually grows into a vine-like flower. And they have different kinds all looking different!
- Parul BatraMay 13, 2013Homemade granola with Greek yogurt is probably amongst the best I have ever had. Coffee selection is amazing too. I just wish they offered unlimited free wifi instead of 60 minute cards.
- Achal VarmaAugust 22, 2014Great coffee, nice decor. I enjoyed just sitting here, sipping my coffee, reading and pondering. I like that there was a lot of natural light in here.
- Jeremy KrantzAugust 9, 2014Creative list of lattes which feature unique ingredients and blossoming teas as well. Solid. Great space too.
- Takes some time but worth the wait. Special coffee drinks w honey, earl grey, and other flavors so good.
- Chase MaxwellSeptember 1, 2011Beautifully modernist in its ambiance, but at times, a bit cold, especially in the winter. Voltage is generally always quiet and relaxing. The espresso is always delicious, almost unfailingly.
- Leah LiDecember 14, 2014Try one of their deliciously unique lattes and feel smart when you know where they get their names from (eg. Atticus Finch, Madame X, Thieving Magpie).
- Long CaoNovember 1, 2012Fantastic pourover, service was quick and friendly. You're pretty much surrounded by glass walls so it's well lit by daylight as well.
- All their brewed teas and coffees are delicious; the food looks good too and the ambiance is pretty cool.
- Sam VerrillMay 16, 2015Nice, relaxed space. Good pour over coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich.
- Jonathan BlairDecember 16, 2014Good espresso with great crema, but I little bitter. Coarse up the grind and it'd be fantastic.
- MashableMarch 20, 2014Voltage Coffee & Art is a coffeehouse and gallery located in the buzzing hive of Kendall Square.
- Fran Martin MartinezMay 20, 2014Nice & different place. Espresso could be better... But we are in America... Nice they have it. Stop by!
- Paula MarttilaAugust 13, 2011Get the Beyond the Sea latte with homemade caramel and salt! Most surprising mix that is close to being addictive.
- Iced Beyond the Sea is your best bet for a summer drink. Looking for a warm one? Atticus Finch.
- Justin HaywardApril 22, 2012Very eclectic menu with great coffee and tea options. They have drip coffee as well!
- Staff is super nice. Coffee is awesome. Food is really good. Get the Atticus Finch.
- Union Square donuts come on Fridays. Best paired with a Madame X latte.
- Best coffee in Kendall Square. Get the pour over coffee.
- They have macarons now! Also the best coffee in the area!
- As if the lattes weren't reason enough to charge up, the lavender scones are divine!
- If you can't decide what to get, you can't go wrong with a Madame X!
- 🎵Somewhere **beyond the sea** somewhere waiting for me my lover stands on golden sands and watches the ships that go sailin'🎵
- jeanine hellerOctober 2, 2012Need to wake up - like really wake up? Get the Ethiopian blend - I swear there's more than just coffee in it.
- Curated BostonJanuary 28, 2013Arguably the best tech coffee shop in Boston. I like getting the mate!
- Ayse Kaya FiratAugust 25, 2012Nice drip coffee, stylish interior design. Wireless is slow, though, bring friends or a book : )
- Christina XuDecember 9, 2011Sit at the window facing Genzyme and enjoy watching the natural wind vortex swirl leaves around.
- Amazing selection of specialty coffee drinks. Caramel and sea salt latte? Amazing.
- The paper plane latte drags me out to voltage every week like the paper plane in paperman
- Funky latte flavors and Stumptown beans. Great space. Wish it wasn't in Kendall.
- My favorites are the paper airplane and the curried coconut yam panini!
- Order coffee which is brewed via the pourover method! Currently enjoying the Barrington Ethiopia Nekisse.
- They serve wine and beer too -- the OTHER pick-me-ups!
