- Go! MagazineMarch 29, 2013Try the egg breakfast sandwich: scrambled eggs and crunchy, pecan-smoked bacon between slices of toasted ciabatta. Spinach and cheddar give it pops of greenery and creamy goodness. (Evan S. Benn) Read more
- Cindy CrookDecember 7, 2014The Egg White Frittata is a great tasting, healthy start to your day! Also, love the unique odds and ends that are for sale all along the walls of this neighborhood eatery! Great for gift shopping.
- Danielle HohmeierJanuary 1, 2016Super cute brunch/lunch spot + gift/packaged food shop. You order at the counter and take a seat. Probably not suited well for large groups.
- Riverfront TimesAugust 4, 2014The beef brisket sandwich, its meat roasted overnight and piled high between slices of bread and Havarti cheese, has gained a loyal following, and with good reason. Read more
- Jonathan GarlandFebruary 22, 2014Try the buttermilk pancakes with butter and maple syrup. These fluffy, delicious cakes were perfect...especially accompanied by three strips of succulent crispy bacon! Good Lord!
- I follow on Instagram and the food pics look delicious. In person, the salads and entrees are less appealing. I will still go back as this used to be my childhood grocery store.
- WH MAugust 13, 2015Great place, but prices edging too high and added dinner maitre de process diminishes enjoyment. Great food! It's gotten too expensive to enjoy as often.
- Adam HickeyMarch 15, 2015Quaint neighborhood spot with matching food and merchandise. The turkey burger is amazing.
- Krazy For PetsMarch 3, 2017Very charming place. While many swear by their beef brisket, I would recommend seasonal quiche. They don't seem to mind dogs at their outdoor seating.
- Katherine sheehan symondsMay 6, 2016Great outdoor patio with choices that remind me of a meal with quality ingredients & a creative cook who likes to eat good food at a fair $
- Jackie HiltonOctober 19, 2014The food was very good. The potatoes were a little hard. But the strawberry jam was so outstanding. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
- 24 Hour Food GeekJune 7, 2015Try the Turkey Benedictine Sandwich - Turkey Benedictine Sandwich - turkey breast, cucumber spread, arugula, country bread. Winslow's home. (via @Foodspotting)
- Personal favs: quiche, the brisket and the grass fed burger!! All are fantastic. And don't forget dessert...berry pie, yum!
- Caroline SchulweisApril 19, 2015Brisket Brie sandwich is one of my favorite dishes in the world! Such a cute, casual spot.
- Arch City HomesOctober 23, 2011While the food can be a bit pricey, it really is good and the atmosphere is a one of a kind. It's a perfect place to visit over a 2 hour lunch on the weekend.
- Megan HaeffeleAugust 23, 2014Eggs and tomato was delicious. Super busy place though and can take a bit to get your food. Cute place though!
- Zeynep YJuly 8, 2013Excellent for breakfast/brunch with the family and service is pretty fast. Their pancakes are enormous 😊
- Love the Americano and their nutty bar. Not sure what they call it but so good.
- Benjamin BlackMarch 15, 2015Farm to table food. Bring an appetite, they've got amazing food and baked goods.
- Jonathan GarlandDecember 1, 2013The breakfast sandwich is quite tasty, however the ciabatta bread was very hard. Actually scraped roof of mouth in a bad way. Coffee was excellent!
- You're less likely to hit a line on the weekend if you show up on the :15s and :45s (rather than standard meeting times like :00 or :30). Try the brisket!
- Cydney CooperJune 11, 2014Fried chicken with waffles is an awesome Tuesday special! Good stop for coffee as well.
- Leah ByrnJune 19, 2013Great place to pick up a fun gift for a friend. General store meets fine dining. Food a little pricey.
- Riverfront TimesOctober 10, 2012RFT 2012 Best of St. Louis Winner - Best Takeout Counter (Gourmet Division) http://bit.ly/VPWJCO
- CynthiaFebruary 3, 2017The egg sandwich was average. The burrito tasted good but then made my friend sick. We didn't have to wait long to get a table but then the wait to get our food was unreasonably long.
- Lisa WeserMarch 20, 2012Where Martha Stewart would shop and brunch if she lived in St. Louis. Fresh, organic, quirky...my fave!

- MitchNovember 9, 2015I hate this place. It's too good. I order stuff I shouldn't like (apple and cheese sandwich, for instance) and it always impresses me.
- Kimberly Henricks-FriedhoffMarch 24, 2012Don't miss the brisket sandwich ... one of the best in town!
