This application is used to balance pre-lightened hair or to blend gray hair. This can be the fluid shade of a high lift blend. Some toners are permanent colors in pale, delicate colors. Other toners can be semi permanent. This application is a great way to refresh the ends of the hair during a retouch color or balance the color in between foils.

This application‏ is used on any level of natural hair color for maximum heightening. The natural hair pigment goes through different stages of color as it lightens. This may take several applications depending on the color you want to achieve. Toners are used in the final stage when delicate shades of blonde are desire.

Strands of hair are colored w/ highlights, mid lights, & lowlights utilizing weaving or slicing techniques while isolated in foils. Up to 100 foils.

Balayage is a french word meaning “to sweep”. To balayage the hair is to use a brush to point a thick mixture of lighter or darker sections of hair. The outcome can be a natural & subtle look. It could also be used for a dramatic & trendy effect. When combing the hair from one side to another the effect is awesome.

The ombre technique is a current & chic effect. Ombre is a subtle application of color that starts from the middle length through the ends, creating a gradual hue of colors.

This application is the traditional technical method to create curl for either a wash & wear look or support the style. Recommended for shorter hair 35 rollers.

This new technical application allows us to achieve & support our trendy looks. There is minimum curl. Just a lot of body for very natural texturized looks which can be left to dry or blow-dried to maintain volume in your finish look. Recommended for short hair. 25 Rollers.

A chemical straightening process using a firm relaxer system.

1St hr, this new revolutionary smoothing system infuses keratin deep into the hair cuticle eliminating up to 100% of the frizz & curl from the hair. The advanced patent-pending formulation restores & restructures hair by infusing a special blend of natural keratin deep into the cuticle. The keratin is bonded into the cuticle by heat of the flat iron to relax the hair’s sub-cuticle layer. The hair is left soft, shiny & incredibly luxurious. The hair is more manageable & takes much less time to style.The hair can be treated directly after permanent color, semi-permanent or highlights. The treatment will extend the life & seal color in, leaving it vibrant. For demi-closs or toners, have color done 3-5 days after treatment for optimal results. You must wait 72 hours before hair can get wet when receiving the keratin complex smoothing therapy. If the hair gets wet within this time period, blow the hair dry & flat iron w/ medium to low heat immediately. Keratin care shampoo & conditioner (sodium-chloride free) or keratin color care shampoo & conditioner (sodium-chloride & sulfate free) must be used for xex to guarantee the procedure. The treatment can be done as often as 4-6 weeks. Re-application should be done on the entire head as the build-up of keratin can only improve, not harm, the hair. Approximate processing time is 3 hours. Lasts 5-6 months.

Upon consultation, fusion is another form of bonding which can last 3-5 months w/ upkeep. Individual strands of hair are bonded at the base of the client’s head using an adhesive heat gun. For the most natural looking results, up to 3+ hairs are used.

A client’s hair is retwisted at the base for a clean, neat look or style.

This style is usually accomplished on hair that is not relaxed for a natural look. It is accomplished by taking twenty one sections of hair, big to small, & twisting the sections into each other. The hair is set to dry under head dryer. A two strandtwist can also be used as a way for a client to start the locking process. Products containing no wax or mineral oil are best when a client decides to loc their hair. These products are used at xex hair salon when we complete a two strand twist.

This application may be necessary when getting a corrective color service. It may also be needed when altering or removing tone or changing the level of the color. It also removes color buildup. This specially formatted treatment removes any excess build up of product, chlorine & environmental pollutants.
