- Leo SumulongSeptember 5, 2014Zona's a hip, classy gem on the Danube. Excellent food & wine overall. Service is attentive and swift. The amberjack with cold watermelon soup + artichoke was refreshing and unique, a must-try dish!
- Joey MarburgerMay 21, 2018Ask for Tomas. He’s the most handsome and the food is delicious. The surf and turf. The service. They speak English very well. Our whole family went here and they were very accommodating. Will be back
- Ann BerghmansOctober 20, 2017My favorite restaurant in Budapest, loved the vegetarisch burger and the fish and chips. They serve delicious homemade lemonade! I would recommend it to everyone
- Andrea BognarDecember 12, 2015Beautiful view from some seatings, but not suitable for groups of larger than 6: employees were reluctant to rearrange tables to our needs for a group of 12, so we had to dine in two groups.
- We Love BudapestJune 17, 2014High-end restaurants with more than 200 kinds of Hungarian and foreign wines. Special wines promoted each month with wine tastings and a guest brewer to introduce their work.
- vilagevoJune 23, 2013Best value 3 courses fine dining lunch menu for approx. 13 eur including water and bread! Nice location between the Chain bridge and the Castle on the Buda side, don't miss it!
- I. H.April 18, 2013Very snobby and posh place from a trendsetter restaurateur. The chef is well known for microscopic sized dishes and yes he did it again. On the bright side nice view over Danube and good sommelier
- Ap DMarch 31, 2018The food was really good, good service from our waiter, live piano music, overall great ambience. And very very central location.
- Aurélie C.March 30, 2017Nice restaurant, very good and tasty meals for a reasonable price. Try going there during lunchtime to enjoy a nice menu.
- Nastya ChoiOctober 24, 2017Service was really impolite. I asked if they have cabernet sauvignon and the waiter said they do. He brought a glass of wine without telling me about the wine, showing the bottle, giving some to taste
- BALDASZTI GROUPApril 29, 2014IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to construction works the whole street has been closed, and will remain so until the end of Summer, so ZONA can be only reached by walk, bicycle or taxi.
- Mirjam ROctober 25, 2015Veggie burger was brilliant, loved the interior and location, but the service was a bit dull, slow and chaotic. Seemed a bit expensive for Budapest?? but I guess you pay for the view as well.
- Eszter HarisOctober 18, 2013The best restaurant of Buda, Budapest and Hungary. Lunch offer is crazy cheap. This place deserves a M*
- JDecember 30, 2015Awesome place. 13% fee included, so be careful. Portions are very small, but unreally great. Try everything!
- Nothing ButTheTruthApril 22, 2013Adventurous dishes but you must be joking about the portion sizes. You should get 3 main courses at least. Nice selection of wines by the glass.
- Attila ErosApril 16, 2013Nice place and atmosphere, beautiful view to Danube and Chain Bridge. Good wine selection. Friendly service.
- Gabor MikesDecember 10, 201317 points from Gault Millau, the degustatio n menu is a steal for 30 quid. Try it before fame ruins it all.
- Andras KMarch 1, 2020+ view, live music. Food was good but must say in overall quality is lower than used to be couple of years ago.
- Brian JenkinsAugust 26, 2018The food is good and the place has a good atmosphere, but pay no attention that it is cheap place to eat😁
- Fantastic food, great interior. Try the lunch menu if you are on a budget.
- Tamas PasztorOctober 26, 2013***Warning*** Ugly trick: 12,5% tip is included but it’s in the middle of the bill and in Hungarian (szervizdij). Don’t tip twice! Food+location are great, small portions, price is high but still OK.
- Wesley HayenMarch 1, 2017Very unfriendly staff, came in with the idea of ordering some foos. After the first contact with the staff we didn't fee like 'supporting' them as it felt that they looked down at 'simple tourists'
- Andras FAugust 5, 2019Food was good, service was okay - bit slow. Sitting out is nice, but nicer to eat at the normal tables inside.
- Gabriella Mogyorósi-BartókJanuary 8, 2014A breezely cool wine bar for all who like taking culinary excursions!
- Unfortunately we were unable to have lunch as the place was shut despite their web page saying they were open on Mondays. Please update your website!!!
- Dávid SándorMay 9, 2017Incredible expensive! Two beer 3 400 ft!!! Almost 400 Ft service charge! Why? There are no more than 8 steps from the bar to the al fresco table. I do not offer this restaurant! Brrrrr....
- I. H.April 18, 2013Tricky bill. Watch out your check. For some very funny reason they hide the service charge, by not putting on the bottom of the bill but somewhere in the middle of the list, which makes me wonder why!
- Mike SloneOctober 14, 2016Monk fish with risotto isn't bad. Not outstanding, but better than average:
- Stuart McAlisterNovember 4, 2012The menu states in small writing that a 12.5% service charge is added to the bill. I didn't notice because they added it to the START of the bill and then when I added a further 10% to the total
