Should not be compared to the "Amsterdam's Zoo"... it was not so large as we expacted,and most of the animals were not there because of the cold and rainy weather:(

V. large zoo, some areas great, some a bit lacking where animals seemed a bit bored. *NO MAP* available when we went - just a board at the gate, so use the picture I've added here on 4sq as a guide!

Large animals are far from visitors and it's not possible to come closer. Almost all cages in the Primate House were empty - monkeys were hiding.Penguin Hood - air was very unfresh and stinky...
