- Augie RayOctober 22, 2015If Julio asks if you want a shoe shine, get it. Great shoe shine for $10 USD including tip.
- Fionners GDecember 11, 2022I recommend not anticipating buying anything there. It’s super expensive. A bottle of water or beer, bag of crisps can be $8 each. Wi-Fi was also impossible to connect to on both occasions.
- Cori ScottJune 5, 2016Bags were really slow getting to the luggage pickup... On the bright side, the Hertz staff was very helpful and friendly throughout our car rental experience!
- David AgrenMarch 10, 201850 pesos for a can of Coke, no free WiFi, no places to charge your phone. This is airport takes the prize for price-gouging
- Honeylee RamirezApril 13, 2017The airport was clean. Service was fast. There were lots of restaurants or booths you could grab a bite on.
- Rob LFebruary 23, 2020Official Free WiFi: “...Free Google Station-Sitwifi” watch ~15 second video to begin free 30 minutes. You can also add time by watching more videos
- Keelia MurphyNovember 19, 2013Get your boarding pass at the self-service kiosk even if the computer tells you "carry-on only"- the agents will kick you out of line to do it anyway, even if you have bags to check.
- Margaritaville! Best place to eat, drink and have fun with a great service!!!
- When you fly in there is a stub attached to your visa that you have to present upon departure. If you loose it you will pay a fine!
- Malek AlmutairiNovember 28, 2016Great, efficient airport. Just didn't like the part when I walked out of the terminal and was bombarded with taxi drivers.
- 💎TNovember 15, 2014There's a food court and a decent sized duty free section. For some reason there's a huge margaritaville and a bubba gump
- Chris CraigmanOctober 31, 2014Surprisingly has one of the best (if not the best) duty free shops I've ever been to.
- Samuel MartinezDecember 27, 2017Avoid to take taxi from the company AIRPORTCAB , they don’t have enough cars and the waiting time is unclear, not organized.
- Book a shuttle before you arrive, if not, there are also buses that will take you to either to Cancún or Playa del Carmen's downtown for a reasonable fee. Take advantage of the duty free zone, enjoy!
- Once you collect your baggage... don’t listen to the “tourism promoters”... just take your ride to your hotel/home and enjoy.
- Avoid the baggage handlers outside in the light blue shirts. Duty free has a great selection of tequila but too many sales people.
- Gonzalo de VelascoJanuary 28, 2017Call UBER for transportation... Fee to hotel is about 125 pesos (6 dollars) Vs cab for 600 pesos. You'll have to walk outside the parking lot, but UBER is always courtesy, safety and fair prices.
- Becareful with the exchange rate it's 15.14 & they are only giving you 12.50. That's a 18% markup!
- Remarkably, there’s no real free airport Wi-Fi - just a bunch of fake or subscription options.
- MrsCorksterMarch 14, 2015Airports in other resort destinations should follow this model. Familiar chains + local faves make it easy for everyone. Continuous improvements to infrastructure ensure seamless check-in process too.

- CarmenApril 5, 2015airport is too small for the traffic it handles. In April, Sunday morning at 8 checkin line for Frontier is horrendous. Also be prepared to only know the Gate # one hour before takeoff, all airlines
- Rosy CJune 9, 2014If you have booked a cargo pick you up at airport, make sure they tell you exactly where to find then. The people just outside the terminal will pretend to help you but are selling timeshares.
- RexJune 7, 2018Very modern airport (at least terminal 3). There is also a new terminal 4 as of late 2017. Many buses to Playa del Carmen / Tulum
- Chris CraigmanOctober 31, 2014Skip the Starbucks at the entrance, you'll need to toss your drink before security. There is another Starbucks located past security near the gates. 👍
- ALVIE GARCIADecember 12, 2018There's a currency exchange located inside after security... The exchange rate is not too bad either.
- João Paulo CamolezAugust 11, 2014Really nice and busy, but you can relax waiting for your flight back home... 😢
- Ahren BarbourAugust 28, 2014The VIP Lounge by Bubba Gump is small, hot and has a poor range of anything. Also, seems to allow anyone and everyone including children.
- Alessandro Di FeliceAugust 9, 2014Clean, well served, a nice place while you wait for your flight back home.
- Anton TrushinJune 16, 2012There are no lockers in the airport, the nearest locker is at the bus station in the downtown of Cancun nearly 20 km from the airport.
- Rie HashimotoMay 6, 2011Free testing of various kind of tequila at duty free liquor shop in the airport. You can try options before deciding which bottle to buy.

- Rafa del ToroApril 4, 2017There is no way to charge your phone or tablet at the waiting rooms of the domestic flights part. It's XXI century!!
- Mykola HuttaSeptember 14, 2013Don't exchange money at the airport. Rate is much better at the cities or hotels. Also duty free is extremely expensive. Buy all Mexican staff at wallmart. Have a good trip!
- Fernando FloresOctober 15, 2012By airport standards, amazing. If you can't figure out that you will pay airport prices for everything, then maybe you should have stayed home.
- Brittany ThiessenDecember 28, 2011Stock up at the duty free shops, while you're waiting for your flight! Lots of great authentic Mexican products. Many delicious restaurants once you pass security.
- Julius DJanuary 26, 2014This airport has supposed to have won "best airport in Latin America" 2 years running: but they removed the Prodigy Infinitum Internet, the 3G and cel service is terrible. Terminals in DF are better.
- Jeeleighanne DuboiusJune 19, 2017Quick service! Make sure to check out duty free. Their tequila prices are really good.
- Have your papers all filled out and be ready to wait in line for immigration.
- John SmithMarch 30The police or security that detained my sister for a slight tear in her passport are literally special needs. It’s a good thing I wasn’t there because I’d slap the dog water out of all of them brown
