- Try the Cioppino - Double order! You will regret your trip here if you don't try the Cioppino
- Yoni ZloczewskiDecember 6, 2017While the cioppino is pretty good I would just focus on ordering a whole mess of oysters
- Jan-Nicolas VandervekenSeptember 12, 2010Probably the best food on Castro. Small place, friendly staff and great food. We had the chowder and crab burger special: delicious.
- Annie JJuly 26, 2012Food was pretty good but if you come, make sure you have all the time in the world. Not only will you wait a while to be seated, waiting to place your food order was just as long.
- Get the amazing garlic beard or go to Hell without passing GO!! Wink.
- I've been coming here for years, and have never had a bad meal. This is the best seafood restaurant in San Francisco.
- Cioppino is always amazing and always on the menu. It's huge so share it and get an extra order of garlic bread. Trust.
- The seafood is good, but the prices are pretty steep, especially given the bad service. $75 for 2 people for lunch (no alcohol) is ridiculous. Table service is glacial in pace.
- Kingsley LuuFebruary 18, 2013Wait is long so brave yourself. But the chef sends out clam chowder to calm those impatient souls :)
- Robert SnowOctober 15, 2011Love the Cioppino! Right next door to Harvey Milk's original photography studio on Castro.
- Jassim LatifAugust 23, 2011amazing crab in a garlic white wine sauce. haven't had it anywhere else at this level.
- Bonnie ClydeApril 14, 2013Wait time at least an hour. What we should've done was put our names down and went around the corner to Castro Wine for some wine tasting as we waited but, FYI,, they only seat full parties.
- Don't wait for a table if you're alone or with a frlhp
