Virgil was a great tour guide at the Swan House! He was filled with information about the history of the house, filming The Hunger Games, and kept us laughing!
A good museum with exhibits on Civil War, Olympics and houses from the 1930s and 1850s. On 30 wooded acres, you could make a day of this place - and probably should.
Best museum in Atlanta! Very friendly staff. Beautiful grounds allow a wonderful walk. Lincoln exhibit is a must see! Olympics display is fantastic and interactive. Take the challenge!

The Atlanta History Center features 32 acres of gardens, wildlifetrails and woodland areas. The complex includes the Tullie Smith House (1840s) and the fully restored 1928 Swan House mansion.
You really need to spend all day here. There is soo many cool things to do. Make sure to visit the houses and gardens in the back. Also very cool civil war and Atlanta History. Don't Miss Anything!
