- Naptown 💪 LarryJanuary 30, 2013The Banana Cafe in neighboring D.C. houses colorful decor that sets the tone for Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican dishes. The upstairs piano bar is open every day from 4 p.m to 11 p.m.
- Happy Hour from 4 to 7:30. $3.50 specials. Limited food menu at the Piano Bar upstairs. Not that you will care, the Margaritas rock!
- zulie💭February 23, 2014Delicious! Had the Puerto Rican piononos and my husband the Mofongo with masitas de cerdo. We loved it. Was a bit pricey though.

- It sounds (and looks) a bit odd, but you really need to try the Puerto Rican Mofongo. It's essentially fried plantains mashed and formed around meat - and it's awesome.
- The margaritas and the Cuban sandwich are to die for! This is a must order!
- Tiffany JohnsonJuly 11, 2011The service is slow... It's part of the style, but the Ropa Vieja is one of the best dishes I've ever had. I highly recommend trying it.

- Lauren S.January 20, 2014Margs are weak and made with low-quality mixers, but the happy hour tacos are delish!
- Dan LaPointDecember 16, 2012The nachos w. beef and the breakfast quesadilla will make the gourmand inside squeal with unbridled joy.
- Jonathan LSeptember 20, 2011Wings have a great kick without being obnoxiously hot. Good tingling in my mouth after those meaty wings.
- M Squared Real EstateAugust 20, 2011The upstairs bar has an excellent happy hour and there is patio seating, good weather providing.
- There are 2 Banana Cafe entries. One includes the piano bar. Have a Margarita at either entry and enjoy.

- L. Dijon AndersonOctober 28, 2012The food is way too flavorful. Way too good!! You've gotta go. And then enjoy the piano bar upstairs.

- Meghan KathleenAugust 2, 2009Go to Banana Cafe and Piano Bar and sit on the patio and drink margaritas. The food isn't super special, but the atmosphere is great.
