- Wondering FeetNovember 7, 2016The dim sums were delicious. Loved the spicy shrimp and sesame ball. The tea disappoints unfortunately as unlike any traditional dim sum house was made from tea bags.
- Chefs FeedAugust 30, 2016"It's right across the street from Jar, and it’s my quick fix for plump pork & shrimp shumai dumplings. You can tell these are always freshly made." - Chef Suzanne Tracht Read more
- My new favorite place in LA. All-day specials at the bar include $2 Sapporo drafts, $4 glasses of wine and $4 spicy shrimp dumplings (which I want for dinner every night starting now).
- Namona BtNovember 22, 2014If you're looking for a good chinese/Vietnamese: The crispy spring rolls , juicy pork dim sum & sweet/sour soup was delish!
- Andrew LaymanNovember 19, 2017Amazing pork buns. Get sticky wrapped sticky rice with pork. The bak Choi is good too.
- Sonia SAugust 14, 2014The dim sum is made to order. Don't expect this to be your authentic, typical or rowdy dim sum joint. More American customers in an upscale environment. Good quality food nonetheless.
- Phil TorontoSeptember 7, 2014They will tell you that all of the dumplings are big - they aren't that big. You need at least 2 orders of the juicy pork dumplings.
- Vanessa MeyerJanuary 4, 2013Best lunch. The juicy pork and chicken spinach are great. We didn't know it was happy hour and were pleasantly surprised by our bill. This place is a must.
- Thomas ColtonJanuary 23, 2015Free valet! (Excluding tip) and always seems to have space. Very much a decent hidden date spot last minute
- Love the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf (don't eat the leaf), shu mai, seaweed salad...actually everything I've tried has been great and I've been here at least 5 times.
- Julius WeilMarch 13, 2014Dim Sum on Beverly everything is delicious and the staff is great. Shu Mai is exceptional a ms are the crispy crab and shrimp balls.
- Danny NathanFebruary 14, 2017Super tasty dim sum. Go for happy hour. Sort of a bummer that they don't do the carts, but the food is tasty regardless.
- The cabbage salad and crystal mushroom dumpling are a perfect, veggie friendly, lunch!
- AsjaMarch 30, 2011Diet-friendly accommodations + friendly staff. Our waitress Misun is sweet. She made sure the dishes were tailor-made even though we didnt ask her to. This allowed everyone to sample all the dishes!
- Juicy pork buns and the pork and spinach potstickers are my favorite! Truthfully, nothing I've ever had here was anything but amazing.
- Thomas ColtonMay 5, 2015Chicken shumai, juicy pork dumplings, pork buns, etc. Haven't had a bad thing on the menu
- Pretty much hit the whole menu. Mochi Dumplings and Chicken Potstickers are hands down the best.

- Janet Anne PanenJune 29, 2013Two words: milk buns. They taste and feel the way you'd think a cloud should taste and feel. Life-changing, man.
- AsjaMarch 30, 2011Wild crab dumplings-extra sticky and so good. Real crab meat and generous filling. Crispy Taro Ball and Honey Walnut prawn are by far my fav!
- NicoleJuly 21, 2013Try the crispy crab and shrimp ball & pork dumpling. And for desert you MUST have the milk bun!
- Finally had the Milk Buns for the first time last night -- it's up there with one of my favorite desserts of all time.
- Taryn MelissaOctober 14, 2013Juicy pork buns are a must. However, be aware, the amazing half-price lunch special is no more :(
- Zac McCormickJanuary 24, 2016I wasn't that impressed with the service, but the food was great! Get yourself some soup dumps.

- Adam CheungMarch 5, 2012Limited dimsum menu but what they do, they do a pretty good job at, at about $1.00-1.50 premium over San Gabriel valley dimsum spots.
- Anton PerreauApril 29, 2017If you want authentic Dim Dum, this probably isn't the place for you.As a western attempt at Dim Sum it's a mediocre (albeit more expensive than it should be) experience missing some essentials.
- Katya ZhylkaNovember 3, 2013It's definitely one of our favorite places in LA now!!! Dumplings are the BEST!!❤️
- DJ Latin Prince ✔ November 10, 2011The food here is amazing. Make sure you come during their happy hour specials. Great Prices..
- Damn good dim sun. Save room for the egg custard. Fresh, warm and omg good.
- Joanne DMarch 25, 2012Bartenders are super nice! Pork/shrimp shumai & chicken stuffed mushrooms are delish!
- OliverJanuary 9, 2016Heres a tip. If you want westernized chinese goodness, go to panda express. If you want dim sum, do not go to bao
- Jasleen AnandJuly 31, 2021Mostly white people eating here. Not good. Juicy dumplings had no flavor, no juice & skin was too thick. Pea shoots were not tender. Har gow - decent. Scallop/shrimp dumplings & sticky rice - good.
