- Craig DesmaraisSeptember 16, 2014Smallish bar with a lively afterwork crowd. Great before a show at the Orpheum. The only place in Boston where you can have a Sam Adams across from his grave.
- Kara OvercasherNovember 3, 2012Great place! Reminds us of a few hometown pubs in Cleveland!!! Asked if they would have the browns game on an didn't get a snappy witty comment back!!! We will definitely be in to watch our browns!!!
- Julie ColganJuly 17, 2013Get the nachos with chili - they're epic! But don't touch the top plate because it'll burn flesh in a millisecond. You've been warned.
- 🌎 JcB 🌎December 28, 2014Popular with tourists right next to Suffolk University, Boston Common, The Freedom Trail, Granary Burial Ground (Paul Revere and other notable dead people). Good beer and service.
- Noah Ford-DunkerFebruary 9, 2016Great place to have a drink downtown Boston, the music was just aweful when we were there. Grab a Sam Adams and look across the street at Sam Adams grave.
- Ericka SchumacherMay 26, 2014Probably one of the most underrated lobster roll in Boston. It is literally a whole lobster and not weighed down with mayo. Sooooo delicious!
- Ryan HebdaJune 15, 2014They serve a handful of Sam Adams beers that you can only get in Boston, including one they brew specifically for the pub. Server with a Scottish accent...yep :-)
- Paul HeadleyOctober 12, 2015This would be my neighborhood bar if I lived downtown. Typical bar fare, but the beers are where it's at.
- Dermot makes the bloody mary mix from scratch (the secret ingredient is A1 sauce!). Nothing like a grilled cheese at 12:55- they serve till 1am!
- Paul RobinsonNovember 10, 2013Good food and fun people there if you have a sandwich share it because it big and good way to save money
- Tunnel past the bar, down to the pool tables, and up to the other side. Usually way less crowded there.
- Andrew BurgessMarch 28, 2015The BBQ Wings here have a little bit of a spicy kick to them, love them :-)
- The chicken burger is Devine and Bonnie is absolutely the beat bar tender in the world!!!
- The only place in the world you can enjoy a cold Sam Adams in front of a cold Sam Adams!
- Sumner VanderhoofDecember 29, 2012This is not a hot night spot. If you stay there till closing they have a "freeze out" where they open all the windows and doors in the middle of winter and try to kick you out. Very aggressive people
- William TurkOctober 14, 2011Mike the bartender is a solid guy- knows the menu, great service and provides great recs for places to go in the area
- TJ McDonaldAugust 20, 2014I saw zombie Sam Adams across the street and came here for cover. However, I found myself surrounded by more Sam Adams. I CAN'T ESCAPE! !!
- Adrian JohnsonJune 6, 2011Try the The Paul Reevere - A pastrami sandwich. It was delicious. With a side of baked bean it was a perfect Boston treat.
- Try the sweet potato fries but ask for the side! If you get the full order it's like $7 but the side is more than enough for only $2.50.
- Ro FloApril 7, 2013Btw: We're in the Beantown Pub right now. And they are blasting the Thong Song at top volume.
- Foxytk23August 2, 2013Went here when I was in college. Will the bartender is great. Tell him "to cream sent u!!"
- Alexandra McKirkzzFebruary 18, 2012Lobster Roll is outstanding! Plus you can have a cold Sam Adams across from THE cold Sam Adams!
- Maria MorrisJuly 12, 2011Try the bean dip if seeking an app to share. Breakfast and bloody marys also available any day of the week.
- Jason BoucherNovember 19, 2011Enjoy a Sam Adams on tap while looking at the resting place of our great patriot and brewer!
- Mark BatesApril 7, 2010The Paul Revere sandwich is just insane. Pastrami & corned beef. Amazing. Becareful though they charge for soda refills which is a bit cheap if you ask me. They should be free.
- Dana Worby-RobinsonMarch 20, 2014If you need to charge your phone, electronic outlets are only behind the bar.
