- Untapped CitiesNovember 16, 2014The pretzels are imported directly from Germany. Classic look, classic beers, just respect for the tradition is what made this place one of the best we have ventured to in the last couple of years. Read moreUpvoted Sep 21
- An indoor Biergarten. It gets a bit loud but that's not a problem. The schnitzel is really good with authentic sides. Get the "mas" and you'll be good to go.
- Monday nights are the best!!!! After work jazz and chorus girl or burlesque performances. Live bands are always spectacular and you'll see some good dancing too.
- Dushyant BalasubramaniJuly 8, 2018Not an easy find if you follow Foursquare mapping instructions. Go for the HB beers on draft...the sunlit terrace is beautiful in the evenings

- Teeker KajDecember 14, 2019I came here yesterday with a big group of friends and Julia was such a sweetheart! We tried the flight and the Hefe Weizen was my favorite. Get the pretzels too while you're at it! Fun time!

- KarenMarch 12, 2022Want everything on the menu. Delicious food, excellent ambiance, generous portions.
- Zack SheppardJuly 22, 2014One of the many "not-quite-authentic" beer halls popping up in Manhattan. But, it is one of the better ones.
- The Corcoran GroupMarch 11, 2011Just opened amazing and authentic German bierhaus. Try the Bierhaus Pretzel (Large) with hot mustard, the Weisswurst and a Hofbrau.
- Morgan NelsonAugust 25, 2014A typical beer garden in food and drink. The shot ski (four shots on a ski) and hofbraü make it a fun atmosphere with good beer.

- Like it or not - still a great place for German expats & beer lovers to enjoy a proper beer!
- Andy McMillanOctober 7, 2012If you're checking the tips to see if you should go here, you'd have more fun absorbing the debt of flying to Munich to the actual Hofbräuhaus. This place is a sweaty, fart-ridden jock hellhole.
- Soo YooApril 4, 2012Get the pretzel to share! (Can feed a group of 4) so good with beer. Two kinds of goood mustard come with it.
- Glen BischoffMarch 4, 2017Obviously get the boot. The 1L is probably the better choice as it is glass vs the 2L plastic
