Ash KirbyJune 22, 2012New security area, same old problem, TURN ON THE E-PASSPORT GATES! there's no point having them if they are always turned off! queue's are massive and car park is too expensive.

Pay the extra and get your car parked for you. Worth the extra

Park at train station , half the price if on airport ..and as handy to get to
You like the fast lane ???? Good, but you better print your boarding card as the scan from your smartphone isn't working
If you're here in the early am, checkin agents only show up at 4am. If you wanna beat the queues get to the desks by 3.30am.

Rod PeelDecember 12, 2013How to milk the passenger and make air travel unpleasant. Car park £1 for 10 minutes (taxis included!). Luggage trolley £1, surly security staff (generally) no business lounge for KLM passengers!

In car park for arrivals... If over 30 mins you will be charged £12!
Find allbarone the food is much better than in the main food part.
Buy magazines/ newspapers/books etc before you go through security or face waiting in long queues. There are multiple WHSmiths before security which are usually much quieter.
Herman SconnOctober 27, 2012Don't expect any help from the staff, if you can find any. They claimed they couldn't contact the baggage area, even though security told me they can as it is there job!
JanAugust 1, 2016One of those airports without decent waiting areas that is unable to post gates earlier than 40 minutes before departure. I can forgive that on airports with heavy traffic like LHR, but not here.- It's good to be back! Or not. Whatever the case may be.

A pint and steak & kidney pie. About £9 and delivered just as fast as BK if you're in a hurry.
