- Mike ReidJanuary 6, 2013One of the better burgers in the city. Good quality beef. Very juicy. Nice bun too. I had the "No Burger, No Cry" jerk seasoned burger with red onion and habanero, Delish. More sweet than spicy.
- Janine HanrahanJune 27, 2013So, so, so good! I loved the burger and the sweet potato fries were awesome too. Plus, the variety of dipping sauces is great. Basically I'd say this place owns Shake Shack.
- Jina KimAugust 5, 2013Really worth to try thier sweet potato fries!! I tried burger without adding any cheese and regreted my choice :( Adding up cheese will enrich the flavor!
- Matt RosenbergSeptember 2, 2012Best damn burger joint in DC to come to after a night of club-hopping! You always bump into a friend or two after 3am on the weekends. A little pricey but it's def worth it.
- Washington PostMarch 11, 2013Here it's more about seasonings than toppings. Burgers are cooked "pink or no pink" and standouts include No Burger, No Cry (habanero); Curried Away (curry, of course); Pardon My French (truffle oil). Read more
- John TaylorJuly 30, 2013Highly recommend the No Burger, No Cry: Jerk seasoning gives it terrific flavor and the perfect amount of zing.
- BROADSOctober 2, 2013By far our favorite Burger spot in D.C., you can't go wrong with a "Now & Zen" Burger!
- Matt BowenAugust 23, 2012The now and zen has great flavor -- the soy sauce and sesame add something. Also, there's old-bay mayo and little old bay shakers on the tables for the fries.
- Kristin LukowskiMarch 23, 2012Excellent Square One burger. Sweet potato fries are also delicious. A bit slow but that's because the burgers are cooked to order.
- Patty flavours don't taste too different once you add cheese, bacon and toppings. Nonetheless, awesome burger joint!
- Highly recommend the No Burger No Cry with habaneros, onion, and jerk seasoning...with pepper jack cheese and applewood bacon...nobody beats it!!!!
- emilyyyMay 18, 2014met the owner & he is so sweet! the food is amazing and it's open until 5:00am! :)

- Try the Vampire's nightmare burger special for Halloween; which features a blend of roasted garlic, sage butter and pumpkin seeds
- Liz Caselli-MechaelOctober 8, 2014The toppings come in the burger meat itself, so don't think there's a mistake when it arrives!
- Black&Orange BurgerJune 18, 2012Wear your KICKBALL team shirt in to the restaurant and get 10% off food and drink.
- MMA NationSeptember 28, 2011It's not hugely better than Shake Shack in terms of food, but excellent local beers are served here on tap. That's enough for me.
- How can someone become mayor when the person who works there continuously checks in there? This needs to be resolved with the General Manager. Its not fair to your customers!!
- WomplyJanuary 18, 2012Black and Orange has partnered with Womply to offer $8 cash back after 3 visits!
- Ramses ChavarriaMay 24, 2010Always a great spot for a late night burger after a Looong Night at the club. Make sure to ask for Angelo :-)
- The absolute best burgers in DC. Curried Away...enough said.
- Steve ScarlataMay 28, 2012The 14th St location is better. They don't have the bloody mary burger here.
- Kelly MApril 29, 2012No burger no cry- mouth watering Jamaican jerk. No need for cheese or condiments.
- Dan CurlJanuary 31, 201220 minutes to get a burger and fries in an empty restaurant? The next time I come here it'll be to claim my free burger! Never again!
