- MarcelaJanuary 2, 2017Awesome Czech food, great beer, really nice design of the interior. Wonderful addition to the Upper East Side.
- Nate LinskyAugust 16, 2018I recommend this restaurant much more than the score reflects. Delicious Austro-Hungarian food in a casual retro feeling setting. Pilsner Urquell on tap with the matching 0,5l mugs. Reasonably priced
- Cheapeats IncDecember 25, 2017Went here with someone from the Czech Republic. Fantastic! Must try the fried cheese, steak tartare & beef goulash. From a non-red meat lover.
- Stáňa FričkováNovember 24, 2018Tartar steak, pork and cabbage, cream sauce svíčkova...delicious food! Proud to be Czech! Thanks for this experience, I was back in my country for a while!😍
- Some of the best food in the neighborhood. Try the schnitzel. It’s a godsend.
- JKAugust 15, 2021Try Drowned sausages utopenec with mustard and rye bread, Braised flat iron steak in a cream svickova sauce with bread dumplings and cranberries & Strawberry dumplings with gingerbread crumbs
- M Reilly-BrooksNovember 13, 2018Great traditional Czech/Slovak food. Loved the apps (sausage, steak tartar, pate, roasted beets). Entrees great too (duck, trout, lamb shank, veal schnitzel). Beer of course. Desserts were ok.
- If you want a great schnitzel at a reasonable price, this is the place. Unexpected gem on the upper east side.
- Thomas PajorMay 2, 2019Excellent goulash and of course Pilsner Urquell. Also loved the interior of the restaurant.
- SiobhánNovember 19, 2017Proper Czech place from the food to beer to service, to give you an experience as close to being in the Czech Republic as you can get in the city.
- Always quality food and great beer, spirits selection. My to go place around all major holidays
- Artem MatyskinJanuary 2, 2022Tried fried cheese and it was ok but not as good as I would expect. Trout was better, a little bit overcooked. Great beer. Young waiter was nice and friendly but another one was a bit unfriendly
- Jason H.April 23, 2023Rude, slow, disinterested service and a lame brunch menu prepared poorly - I would definitely stay away, at least for brunch.
- Hearty Czech dishes (we tried goulash, svíčková, pickled cheese) were delicious and so was the fresh and crispy Pilsner Urquell with proper foamy head.
