Clifton M: Small dive restaurant w/ paper table cloths, plastic cutlery & paper towel napkins. But it's busy for a reason - excellent food. Awesome gumbo. Oyster dinner w/ Cajun fries. Only beer for alcohol.
Clifton M: Bottomless mimosas for $11 (refills are a penny) on Sunday brunch, but they're really weak - not much champagne. Food is ok crowded. Not much parking; use the valet.
Clifton M: Chicken fried steak is really good. Limited wine selection - get a beer. Or get a frozen Jack Daniels & Coke. Happy hour & free wifi. PW = "liveoak1"
Clifton M: Cadillac frozen margaritas 👍. The Veracruz (bacon wrapped shrimp with fajitas) is the best. Fajita nachos or the combo appetizer are good starters. No wifi.
Clifton M: Half priced wine (glass or bottle) on Tuesday's. Otherwise it's a mediocre wine list and overpriced - order a beer Wednesday thru Monday. Food is ok. Try the portobello strips appetizer.
Clifton M: Lunch special - huge slice, salad, and a glass of house wine - only $11.85. Counter service = poor and/or self service, but what do you expect for $11.85?
Clifton M: Good food, cheap, w/ full bar & more parking vs. Rice Village or S. Shepherd locations. Unfortunately line out the door @ lunch, only one register working. Ice machine empty, no cutlery, SLOW service.
