Another smaller, intimate place great for a drink and a chat. Excellent beer on tap, and good cocktails too.

The jukebox, named Orpheus, carries a wonderfully diverse array of sounds, from Cuban music to tiki kitsch. When it's not on, DJs spin drum 'n' bass, jazz, soul, funk, salsa and other odds and sods. Read more

Nice bar that has some atmosphere and decent drinks. Better for slightly larger groups and good for meeting up with groups of friends.

They have a pretty decent selection of Belgium style beers. Try getting a bottle of Lindemans Framboise Lambic. It's a Belgium style sour beer and it's only $15. Light and refreshing. A good value.

Apparently they have karaoke on some (non-strict) subset of Sunday nights. The space isn't great for this but it livens the place up. The pro move is (as always) get a hideout drink and bring it out.

It's no longer much of a secret, but tucked in back of the Mission District dive classic Dalva, the Hideout is proof of the neighborhood's secret desire to embrace cocktaildom.
