Watch out for the 40% tax on rental cars and the Tollroad where you MUST have one of their payment boxes in the car or you will get a $400 fine. There are no signs to warn you. Shame on you Denver!!!
Ask for a ”Union” cab if you need a taxi. They are not an actual union, are owner operated, and have cheaper rates.
Be aware TSA screening blows, most of the time. Be prep for long lines... Safe travels!

Signs for transportation are lacking - need to take the tram that heads past terminal A if you are in B or C
Welcome to Creepy DIA. Check out the swastika shaped runway on google maps (Earth view) and then look East for some creepy looking landscaping.
Mezzanine on B concourse now has some benches to sit with outlets to charge up.
Like McDonald's? That's your main food option unless you want to sit for awhile, really.

As you leave DIA be sure to take notice of Blucifer, the giant horse of doom... Creepiest piece of art EVER!!!
Do not assume there will be a Starbucks or any coffee shop near your gate. Plan accordingly.

Adam HAugust 15, 2011If you're on Frontier, American, or any airline in terminal A, don't go through main security; walk the jetbridge to terminal A and go through the usually-shorter security line & skip the tram.
Hit the McDonalds and ask for the Secret Sauce Burger. Only location that serves it in the world.
There's a reason the wifi is free. You get what you pay for. Sneak an old dial up modem through security. You'll get a faster connection!

If you like Starbucks, it's located by gate B80. A trek, but worth it!!
