- TimJuly 21, 2013Staying Downtown at the Ren Cen Marriott was a great experience. I recommend it's location for anyone coming to the city of Detroit.Upvoted Sep 10
- Lakecrest LimousineSeptember 2, 2012Valet your car or be chauffeured in. The hotel is renown for the best and most romantic views in the city of Detroit/Canada. World class shopping, restaurants and the riverfront are in a short walk. Read more
- MariFebruary 25, 2013Gorgeous views of the bridge and city when staying on the east side of the high rise. People mover will take you to the casino, Greektown and more.
- Mellissa RibaresAugust 15, 2012Great beds and super helpful staff. Outstanding service. Can't say enough!
- Dwayne KilbourneAugust 16, 2011I've stayed here a few times, and I have enjoyed nice accommodations. Also, the best views are from rooms on the higher floors along the eastern side of the RenCen!
- OMG! Absolutely LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! this hotel! Gold and Platinum members are spoiled rotten at this location!!!
- Brittany DrayerMarch 27, 2013Join us at Ford Field in Detroit Saturday, August 24th for the 22nd annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. www.alz.org. #Step-by-StepDetroit
- Renee RobisonOctober 3, 2012The Health Club on 40th Floor has great equipment and the isn't bad either!
- T & BJanuary 12, 2014Very nice view to canada and very friendly service here...but this hotel needs definitely new paint, new furniture and new carpet!!!!
- Katelyn BennettJune 2, 2012If you can go for the high rise towers! Amazing views and awesome rooms. Great location! love that the people mover comes to the ren cen =)
- Ted CoppockJune 22, 2014Met there for special planning with others who were staying there. Regular rooms smaller than most was my observation. Very hard to negotiate path from "people mover" to elevators to upper floors.
- Awesome location! Everything is within walking distance and the room views are amazing!
- Angela HernandezJanuary 9, 2012An FYI from those of us who work in the towers surrounding the hotel. The windows are NOT one-way :)
- Tammy GordonMay 5, 2010Nice hotel right on the water. Skip the room service & explore local restaurants. Go for a run on riverfront park.
- Danielle ElMay 4, 2012Its downtown, but don't be freaked out if you see homeless people laying on the ground using the steam to stay warm.
- CreampuffMay 3, 2013Do yourself a favor and splurge on the Westin Book Cadillac- this spot is a rube's wet dream.
- Joshua HeykoopMarch 17, 2014I was just there with Mich Deca and the customer service was horrible and a couple of the rooms had bed bugs in them. Other than that the view is awesome and they have a lot to do in and around you.
- Lisa FenimoreAugust 6, 2010This is not a hotel, it's a city. Grab ur map and good luck. It's extremely confusing but it has a ton to offer, including access to the "People Mover", that will take you around downtown for 50cents
- Judah RichardsonNovember 19, 2012Check this off if you've attended a conference here. Best catering I've ever experienced.
- The front desk people aren't the nicest, but it's an overall good spot.
- Eva WhitleyJuly 22, 2014Floors are hard and unyielding, and chilly w/o a blanket. All of which could have been avoided if they had sent up rollaway with bedding, as promised at check-in.
- To navigate hotel; always go to floor 1. Take escalator up for cvs, transit & tunnels. Down for food courts
- Carly BurgessJune 23, 2010Valet your car. It's only an extra $5 and saves you the hassle of finding a spot in the garage, walking and lugging your bags.
- Niice hotel! They got a mini gmc car show downstairs and ova the water is Canada!
- They need to clean the windows. You can barely see outside.
- Carly BurgessJune 23, 2010Ask for a room on the East side of the hotel. It's a great view of the river, the city and Canada.
- This place is like an uninhabited island on weekends. 0_o
- Carly BurgessJune 23, 2010Go to Coach Insignia for a drink on top of the hotel. It's an amazing view!
