LP Traveller MEDecember 16, 2012If you're a resident of Dxb pick up E-Gate before you fly. Dhs220 and you never have to queue in customs ever again! It takes ten minutes and it's worth every penny.
Nice & comfortable place to be. Duty free is a must see!

No electronic check-in kiosks, so lines for economy are unavoidable. Somewhat surprising for an aspiring smart city...allow extra time.
The wifi (maxspot) is free make use of it, however it's very hard to find a power outlet to charge your phone, so keep looking for it !
Good for shopping alcohol and perfumes. Books collection not too fancy. Free wifi

Duty free is limited to the big brands and typical airport stuff. Water is cheap though so you can stock up before your flight

Although good Airport and t I guess biggest one. Same time aged and requires lots of maintenance. Good if management works on ventilation and air conditioning. Emergency medical services not visible.

At Dubai airport arrivals: To top up your card go to exit 2 to the flowershop. Etisalat or Du will not do it for you.

On December 20th of every year, a one-day anniversary sale is held by Dubai Duty Free. Huge discounts are up. Mark it.
No doubt Dubai intl. is fantastic but i was shocked when they took us from the airplane to terminal by bus!!
