- WilliamJuly 18, 2012Fresh food and coffee at a decent price in a very nice open and clean environment. The service was great (8:30am). Wish they had wifi, but maybe that's why it was such a pleasant experience.
- Ms HeleneAugust 9, 2013A very modern, cafe-like space for a cafeteria style operation. Nice seating outside on a warm day with lots of salad and hot food bar items. Conveniently located near the F stop too.
- Quincy KosterAugust 6, 2014Made to order salads are a bountiful steal, and the employees here are incredibly friendly and generous. Me and my coworker come by everyday for lunch. A much less crowded and less expensive option...
- Nick El-TawilApril 9, 2018Great for a quick, cheap bite. I stop by when I’m in the neighborhood and don’t have much time to eat.
- I'm lowering my rating to Dislike. Salads are inconsistent, they're always out of ingredients, can take up to 35 min to get one, & new clueless staff every week who don't know the salads on the board.
- Ted PardeeNovember 14, 2014I had an excellent breakfast - I strongly recommend the Jay Street Special. Coffee, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage & the best Grits in New York!
- Kirsten AlanaJuly 1, 2012The corn salad is great for a summer picnic, fresh with a hint of wood smoke that screams of corn on the cob cooked over a campfire.
- Ryan AndersonJune 19, 2017I am ENSLAVED by this place as there are no proper lunch options in Dumbo. Please God let Sweetgreen open soon.
- loran jonakAugust 31, 2015Tasty food selection and although the beer selection is small, they change out the taps often with a variety of good micro beers
- Food and service is great! Coming here more and more. Try the salad bar and don't be afraid to ask for samples.
- Great food with competitive prices (much more affordable than Forgers). Service is great too, not sure what everyone else is talking about. Ask for Phil, he'll take care of you!
- Perfect for everything from breakfast to dinner. Really love this spot and the natural light that floods in.
- Zane BurnettApril 7, 2013The salads are made to order and one of the best deals you're ever going to find when it comes to a healthy lunch in Dumbo!
- Talk to the staff... They're so friendly and always make amazing food and wine recommendations!
- Mallory BlairMay 5, 2013If you mixed the chef prepared section of whole foods with your favorite local coffee shop, it'd be Dumbo Kitchen.
- Loren HnkJuly 19, 2016I can never understand why the service is so slow for lunch here. It's never packed but there is always a wait to put in your order and then an inordinately long wait to get your food. What gives?
- Actually I think the staff here is super attentive and extremely friendly. They're new, so not everything runs smoothly, but I feel like they're trying hard.
- inna katsFebruary 20, 2016Their blackened salmon with quinoa is damn yummy. Even more so with their free wifi ;)
- Carrot CreativeJanuary 28, 2013This place has it all. Carrots say: “The eggplant parm is delicious. Get it with a salad or spaghetti for only $8.99!”
- It's pretty disorganized and haphazard, but the salads are actually a pretty good deal and tasty with fresh veggies.
- Greg ClaymanOctober 24, 2012I found staff lovely and attentive. Food excellent and well-priced. Definitely coming back!
- Gunes UysalefeSeptember 11, 2016We got yelled at by the manager of the restaurant (Milko?) just because he claimed we occupied his 'area' at the bar, which happened to be a stool with a laptop on charge. Very rude attitude.
- Geoff RathboneJune 1, 2017It's an 'okay' lunch place. Truly hit and miss. I think for me it works out most of the time, but occasionally I'll get burned with a dry sandwich or chewy-inedible bacon. not bad in a pinch.
- Try a breakfast burrito w/ whatever you want in it. Fyi, the prices in here are perfect!
- Cobey FlynnJanuary 15, 2016What's the point of giving me a ticket #? Then when the food finally came out it wasn't even right. Avoid this place like the plague, and if you are hungry you're going to be HANGRY real quick.
- Nath MAugust 8, 2013They always teach you not to judge a book by its cover, and that's the case at Dumbo Kitchen.
- Get the #30 sandwich with pesto. You won't be disappointed.
- Brent BurketAugust 31, 2013Dumbest place ever. Assuming it was dreamed up by a long lost Walentas relative with a coke problem and "an idea."
- Alinutza VMay 22, 2018I really wanted to like this place. It’s close to my office and has so many options . Yet the food is just not good. And I tried a lot of things on their menu :(
- The sandwiches are awesome. Service is friendly, not so fast. The No. 70 is very salty, but some people like their prosciutto that way.
- The sandwiches here are awesome and the service is way better under the new management
- Ali SamawiFebruary 14, 2017i got the Tuna sandwich #100.. looked yummy BUT the bread was hard as a rock! couldn't even eat half of it 🤦🏻♂️ :(
- Christina MauroAugust 16, 2015Save yourself the horror and just say no. You're better off being hungry than dealing with the people that attempt to run this establishment.
- Kyle Sir LouisSeptember 20, 2013Table next to us left this note, and cashier charged my friend's card 5 times. Food was ok, but not really worth the wait or hassle; there are much better options in DUMBO!
- Beth WrennSeptember 29, 2013They keep the cheese selections for the make-your-own salad about 5 inches below drop lamps. Sweaty 1/2 melted cheese on my salad?? No thanks!
- Conce GonzalezSeptember 30, 2013Super horrible service. I ordered burgers and my friend ordered his burgers right after me. My order came quick but his came half hour after we had ordered. To top it off his burgers were undercooked.
