Elliott Brown: Comes every couple of minutes between Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Interchange. Free! Best views out the front or back. Sides covered with adverts obscuring the view.
Elliott Brown: Open day once every 5 years! The home of the 27, 35, 50 and other routes. The 2 and 18 stop outside. Not far from the Maypole, Highters Heath and Warstock. Stratford Canal is also in the area.
Elliott Brown: Trains on Sundays are once an hour on the Coventry to Birmingham New Street line. Ticket machine in ticket office, card only. Near the 11A / 11C bus routes. Now operated by West Midlands Railway.

Elliott Brown: On the first floor via via stairs from Next - Rotunda Square entrance. Bag a window table early for views of the Bullring. View is better than nearby Waterstone's Costa. Assume gets busy at midday.
Elliott Brown: On the no 50 bus route, close to Hollywood at the Maypole. New rival for Sainsbury's Cafe. Same drinks / food as other Starbucks. Not far from Kings Heath and Moseley on the 50. Also near 2 and 49 bus
Elliott Brown: Gardens in Castle Bromwich. Formerly part of Castle Bromwich Hall. Spend 20 minutes to an hour here exploring the gardens. Open all seasons. Cafe in visitor centre with shop.
Elliott Brown: Now home of West Midlands Railway (London Midland from 2007-2017) (Central Trains 1997-2007). Diesel trains maintained here for Snow Hill lines. Also Cross Country DMU's.
Elliott Brown: Only open on Open Days to the public. Old steam trains. Diesel also. Traction engines and vintage cars. Model railway seen on my last visit too!
