CourtneyFebruary 22, 2014Absolutely terrible. Came in on a transfer flight and had to go through the most unorganized security. Staff were rude and told travelers if they had issues, to take it up with the airline instead.

Try avoid any of the C gates. Even fly via MOSCOW to avoid the ballache that is a 2km walk from passport to an overly anal security check. If you can't avoid it then be prepared for frustration!
T1 Gate C4 is too small and no facilities. Get coffee etc before, and go to the business lounges first if you want to avoid multiple security checks with long queues.
Touch the trolley. .. go back to the galley... PLAY BUSY!!!!!! XOXO
No Starbacks in terminal Z, but cofee from MC Cafe is nice

Marina ZbozhinskayaDecember 20, 2014Not friendly airport security agents, made me buy a plastic bag for 1€ which was not necessary after all. Plus not polite communication. Will try to avoid while traveling.
Security is the worst on the planet. Never loiter in a bar then try & rush through - you'll miss the plane always! Run by utter morons! bags take 3 mins each to be x-rayed - individually. For EVERYONE
Excellent airport for transfer but not much choice for restaurant/bars.
- Kurt HeinrichOctober 21, 2014Make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare. Some gates are a 30+ min walk after security. One of the best and most modern airports I've been to. Free wifi throughout the airport.
