You have to try this. Very fun and delicious. It takes a while to cook all the food but well worth it. Be prepared to spend almost three hours dining. The dessert fondue was the best!!

Truly un-American dining in the wonderful city of Chicago. Although not directly in downtown it is easy to get there even without a car. Take bus 22 (Clark) north and get out at the Lincoln Park zoo.

This place is a great find, and they have a good Groupon deal! It's old school, romantic, dark, and delish. Good wine selection, too!

Make reservations if you expect to get seated. Very iffy with out reservations. Expect to spend at least $50 per person without alcohol. Food is excellent. Service very good.

Gruyère fondue gives way to seafood, aged beef tenderloin, vegetables, or all three, which you bubble in hot oil at the table. For a sexy finish, dip fruit into a pot of flaming chocolate. Read more

When are they going to add hot dogs to the dessert menu? When you roll them in the chocolate sauce and graham crackers, it looks just like kitty poop in a litter box.

For people with price issues... Go to Geja's during restaurant week. $33 for salad, cheese fondue, entree fondue and chocolate fondue. You leave smelling like hot meaty oil but it's worth it
