- Maya ByrneJanuary 9, 2018Lots of food choices with screens at the seats. Lounges close relatively early so check the schedules.
- Doug WAugust 5, 2016As much as I hate to admit it I like this airport. Easy to get around and in my experience flights run on time. Never started here, always been a layover.
- Customs opens at 5AM. So even if you arrive earlier you won't be able to deboard the plane.
- James KingDecember 3, 2013If you need power for your phone or tablet don't expect to find it in terminal E. One or two plugs around the food area, none at E21... Way to go Houston.
- When you check in at terminal C for United/ Continental flights you will most likely have to take the airport train to go to terminal B. Make sure to leave extra time for check in and transportation!
- The parking at Terminal E is closed. You will need to park at Terminal C and take the train. Plan on coming early and looking for a space to park.
- Peter McQueenJanuary 10, 2011If you're in the mood for Texas BBQ I highly recommend the real food company in terminal c. I went with the beef brisket, beans and cole slaw. Outstanding.
- If you have an international connection, give yourself at least 2 hrs. It can be a long walk...run!
- ALWAYS book your international conecting flight more than 2 hrs... the immigration line is INSANE sometimes ... free wifi .. welcome to the friendly skies ✈️
- Only place to get craft beer is Chili's in A (st Arnold's in bottle) and 3rd Bar and Eating House in B
- In my personal opinion, one of the best airport to stay in transit. Food is great. ;-)
- Terminal B is 1/2 way through renovation. Get there a tad early because you need to access gates after security through a large gate 30 min prior to boarding. P.S. no Restrooms or sitting area though.
- Max PlanckNovember 17, 2010IAH is huuuuuuge so wear sneakers or comfortable shoes. Even then, it's one of the nicer hub airports with lots of food options. I recommend terminal C or E for food (over the food court in B).
- Angela HornsbySeptember 27, 2013Don't forget to note the color of the garage where you park or you won't be able to find your car.
- Michael RamasNovember 16, 2011Big place, lots of gates and terminals, just make sure to read the signage and never forget to ask questions if unsure. There's a lot of gate changes that happens.
- Spacious airport with a lot of great dining options ... especially BBQ.
- Recommended: If you've just travelled from Chicago and you have a son called Kevin, then please make sure that he's with you. If not, he's probably in NY fending off burglars at your house.
- Jeff FriendDecember 7, 2013Pappadeaux in Terminal E is a good spot, but it's a bit pricey. But then again, all airport food is pricey. Affordable healthy-ish option = Shrimp Caesar Salad ($13)
- Those global entry kiosks really make life easy, oh, btw, there's a Whataburger in Terminal B, take the train and get yourself a Texas burger.
- The new rebuilt terminal looks amazing, with so many seatings and great shops
- before flying out if I have a morning flight (and enough time), I always have biscuits and gravy with fried chicken at popeyes. Great way to say goodbye to the south!
- Gayan De SilvaNovember 7, 2013If you are looking for a great, open, public lounge with comfortable seating and plenty of power outlets, head towards gates near "The Fruteria"!
- Evan K. WujcikOctober 20, 2016EcoPark is the way to go for parking. The shuttle service is the best at Bush.
- Marta ValdesMarch 3, 2014If you're stuck here all night prepare. No wifi. The only market opens runs out of food. All the seats have bars so you can't lie down and they have country music blasting all night long.
- Take a look around terminals. Hopefully, you'll find some good food or a souvenir. Enjoy your flight!
- Larry BronikowskiSeptember 28, 2010Le Grand Comptoir in Terminal C has fabulous salads. They are fresh, tasty, healthy, and nice size portions. I recommend the Vietnemese Shrimp salad or the Provencal.
- If you are using Super Shuttle, check in as quickly as you can. They put you in queue for a driver and it can take as long as 30 mins. Trust me, I learned from sad experience.
- ᴡ StuekerjuergenNovember 17, 2022Not a bad airport. Looks like it can use some updating. More comfortable seating and more plugs. Food venues are ok but would like to see more local flair sit down establishments.
- This is a much better home airport than it is a connecting airport or final destination. Pros: affordable parking, destinations. Cons: Rental Car facility distance, making quick connections
- KarolJuly 30, 2012Harlon's BBQ is the best. Located at Terminal B - corn bread only served on Fridays.
- Erika FinnimoreMarch 19, 2018The Spirit Airlines check in desk is a mess. Definitely check in online at least an hour before your flight and carry on to bypass.
- AdrienneJanuary 26, 2012Travel a lot and deal with "normal" air travel problems often but I will avoid IAH always (awful layout, long lines for help, of course humid and, though friendly and caring, no REAL help given).
- Milli ParkusJanuary 7, 2017Very busy airport! Excellent choice for food selection! I had to dress up my daughter so she can look like a local girl 😊
- Roberto SerranoSeptember 8, 2018Take a deep breath and be ready to wait in the looong line to go through customs!!!
- If you are arriving on an international flight brace yourself for long lines at immigration and customs. Expect 1 to 2 hour processing time.
- Make sure u also have either a bright bag tag to identify your bags at baggage claim and yiur name in everything. Easier to track u down that way
- Jose Antonio Tena SendraNovember 27, 2015First airport i have been in that actually has a good free Wifi conection. Great Jobs Houston airports!!!
- Seriously IAH, you have to think big. You need charging stations with seats around and a bigger & better food court, specially at terminal B
- Harry MakertiaAugust 2, 2015Clean airport. Try Panda Express if you need fast and a bit spicy Chinese food.
- Barb M.October 2, 2013When rushing to park we had two gentleman ride. Up on a golf cart and asked us if we needed a ride..well worth it..
- One of the biggest airports. Great diversity in food. Upgrades throughout the place.
- The BikeNomadJanuary 4, 2015In Emirates a backpack with laptop is not considered a laptop bag but a cabin luggage. It would be better to carry just one bag. Sometimes you get lucky and they check in your 2nd cabin luggage.
- If you have a long layover after midnight— make the way to Terminal E. Every other terminal isn't worth attempting to sleep for your layover. I've tried.
- Make your way to Cat Cora's. Really the only restaurant worth sitting down at in the airport.
