- Samantha WoodMarch 10, 2019The perfect place for children under 10 to explore! With over 150 activities and 12 themed areas, it's easy to spend an entire day here. There's even a water play area, which is great in the summer!
- Terika WakefieldAugust 14, 2019On any day, but especially a rainy one, kids love it here! A museum where hands on activity is encourage and is a must! Run through the fountains outside or be a firefighter inside. It's playtime!
- Kelly PadgettMay 27, 2013Very clean, many employees supervising the areas.my kids ages 2,6,8,12 all equally enjoyed it!
- Janis MoeFebruary 18, 2018Such a fun place for the young kids in Tampa! Much better that it's older version and nice location. RiverWalk is so close that we took our grandchildren on a hike after the visit.
- Kelly PadgettMay 27, 2013Loved it! Very similar to explorations v in Lakeland, but Glazer is much more up to date with more to do!
- Jill CarleeJanuary 19, 2014Definitely not a relaxing place to go and watch the kids play. Adult interaction is required! But it is a really nice place, lots of fun for all ages!
- Bernadette Callahan PowellMarch 28, 2013Membership for the year is only $20.00 so great option for rainy days or when we just want to do something indoors. Definitely worth it!
- Sheri SwammyAugust 12, 2019Some of our favorites include 'the farm' and 'the hospital' with their interactive displays. We were fortunate to catch the Wizard of Oz traveling exhibit and come back often for new exhibits.
- Savannah GibbsJanuary 4, 2015Kids love it and want to stay all day long! We went for two hours before closing and they were begging for more fun!
- Justin LisenbyMarch 27, 2022Such a fun place for kids to explore and learn. Best museum in Tampa Bay.
- Bob BuckhornNovember 21, 2011For the 1st Tuesday of every month until March 2012, admission is $2 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Your kids will love both the museum and the playground just outside in Curtis Hixon Park.
- Chris HurstJuly 11, 2013Great staff, everyone was very attentive and friendly. Love the hands on learning and the demonstrations.
- Bright Eyes TampaAugust 20, 2011The is a wonderful place for imaginative play for kids young and small! Extremely interactive for children and their parents. Tampa is lucky to have it. :)
- Kids could play here all day. We love it and bought a one year membership.
- Chris McMurtryNovember 8, 2019Get a year membership, this place is great during the middle of the summer!
- Burke ColemanMarch 9, 2016Good for little kids only.. felt much more like a big play ground than an actual science/learning center.
- Jennifer ColletteJune 19, 2013Your Great Explorations Children's Museum great membership gets you in free all year!
- Krystal HallackJuly 6, 2012Extremely busy! It was hard to keep up with both children (ages 1&5). Many areas were for 3 and under or 3 and over. I wouldn't suggest eating there. We had to share a table with another family.
- Bobby ShivelyMarch 9, 2013Little pricey so make sure you find some coupons around the city hotels and travel info spots.
- Bernadette Callahan PowellMarch 28, 2013Egg Hunt this Saturday (early) morning. :) We will be there!
- Kelly PadgettMay 27, 2013was disappointed that the museum subway was closed nearly an hour before the museum was due to close. :/
- Chris StearnsOctober 23, 2011What kind of place charges admission for any child over the age of 1? Ridiculous.
- Karen GuerraApril 30, 2014Muy bueno, lo recomiendo no sólo para los niños, sino para toda la familia. El idioma no fue obstáculo para la diversión.
