- This is possibly the most confusing building ever designed. But you have to visit it once, just because it's so unique. GM did some great renovations. The Wintergarden is awesome!

- Miranda SaucedoAugust 23, 2012Be sure to take the tour. Sign up is on the first floor and the times are 12pm and 2pm. It's a little boring but they take you to the top of the building!
- With over 70 stores and restaurants, a hotel, a 4-screen movie theater, and 5 million square feet of floor space, the Renaissance Center is so large it has its own zip code!
- Beautiful place, but easy to get lost in. Also most stores and aren't open on the weekend, and the tour isn't offered on weekends either.
- The RenCen, built in the mid 1970s, is home to General Motors, Deloitte and Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Michigan. Also has a shopping area and food court.

- If you're looking for bathrooms, go to the lower level foodcourt - it's sort of winding around the corner if you go right from the escalators.
- If you live downtown this can be a great place to run errands. Post office, tailor, shoe repair, CVS, Pure Detroit, Starbucks and more.
- KristinOctober 22, 2012Service in Volt Lounge was snail-like at lunch. But at least they had several veg options. Room is small-ish but awesome view (albeit a bit scary if you don't love heights). But bed seems comfy.

- David HillJune 16, 2010Whoever designed this place is retarded. there are too many different elevators in too many different parts of the building. I took 3 different elevators to get to my hotel room.
- Coffee beanery, pure detroit and starbucks.. Calumet is great for midday snacks, but cvs is cheaper and takes credit cards 4 all purchases
