The ticket machines across from tracks 31, 32, and 33 almost never have lines: the machines near 42nd St always do.
Pace UniversityOctober 15, 2010Want to take the train downtown... would you also like a seat??? Then take the 6 train...it's not as fast as the 4 or 5 but it will get you there.
This is the most amazing train station in all of the U.S.
The railcar on track 61 is NOT FDR's private car for his Packard-this railcar was the tool car for a rail crane, and was retired in the late '80s...

BKAugust 3, 2010Look up next time you're in Grand Central and look at the beautiful painted ceiling.They use to have a laser show which showed the constallations.
There's a smaller "whispering gallery" on the Lexington Avenue side: fun for grownups and kids alike!- Its always crowded but it is still an experience being one of millions of people to go through this station
If you have to meet somebody, the clock is a good landmark to use
