- Paul AlfredApril 29, 2014The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did have a problem with the water pressure in the face bowl area. Great location you can walk to great food or music venues or grab a cab or bus.
- Victoria SudingJuly 21, 2012Super comfy beds. Good location. Really fast wifi. Near a fire station, so lots of sirens but it's not too bad. Really nice staff too. Oh and complimentary breakfast every morning 6-10. Really great.
- PaulAugust 20, 2013Get a room looking West. Great view with fire house below. A lot of excitement! Easy walk to all the parks, Navy Pier and the beautiful art museum. Great hotel!
- Dan GerbargNovember 24, 2017Don’t check in late. The front desk was very grumpy / reluctantly helpful and the valet either awoke from a rip-van-winkle slumber or polished off a footlong joint by himself in the garage. 👎
- Warm shortcut to Michigan Ave on cold days: Turn right of hotel, left onto State, right onto Grand. At Grand & Wabash go into Nordstroms. Walk through Nordstrom's & the Mall & out to Mich Ave!Upvoted Sep 20

- AT&TDecember 12, 2011"Another reason to stay at this Hampton: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many great amenities for guests. Look for the StayConnected program. It’s free, fast and easy to connect."
- Had a very comfortable stay, friendly staff, great house cleaners, and clean rooms.
- Stephanie JudySeptember 23, 2015I've stayed here twice. There is noise on the street and fire truck sirens often. The free ear plugs help. Also, I was checked in to a room that was already occupied.
- 🖤💀🖤 LiivingD3adGirl 🖤☠🖤May 8, 2015Great service and friendly staff :-) 10/10 would use again and again :-)
- The hotel just upgraded the internet on Dec. 7 - "Your guests should be very happy with the 30MB fiber line. This is equal to 20 T1 lines. You had 4 prior to this install."
- Stephanie McDonoughOctober 2, 2011The Firehouse one block down is awesome. They had us come in and check out the station and it was super fun!
- Paper-thin walls and a fire Dept next door good luck sleeping Earplugs work best if you aren't worried about hearing your morning alarm haha
- If you have a room with wet bar, consider visiting Trader Joe's few blocks away on E. Ontario for some meal ingredients.
- Ótimas suítes e internet grátis! // Great suites and free wi-fi!! :D
- See all the photos on the room number signs: they are all Chicago landmarks!
- Zachary PhilipMay 22, 2011Make sure you visit the Suite Shoppe of this one, it's got some nice Chicago collectibles.
- Rosebud Trattoria located in the lobby. $5 burger special Monday - Friday is great (dine-in only). Meatballs are also good.
- View from 1210. Get a room above 6th floor on alley side (even # rooms).
- Daman WeathingtonApril 23, 2011They have free ear plugs in the lobby. You might need them with the fire station across the street.
- On those cold winter days there are 2 restaurants guests can go to: Rosebud & Ruth's Chris.
- Upgrade to a suite for $10-$20 more... Sooooo much bigger!
- A load of laundry costs $1.50 to dry is $2.00 and detergent is $1.00. On 3rd floor.
- Doctor CuervoFebruary 17, 2013Staying here 4 nites...need a refrigerator for some leftovers and they want to charge me. Will find another hotel next time.
- Если ваш номер на улицу, то ночью вы будете знать о всех пожарах в районе - рядом пожарная станция. А сам отель хороший. Даже бассейн есть
