Relatively fast and well-staffed maintained. Can get overwhelming.
If you have the time head to One Flew South in concourse E. Amazing food as good as any top non-airport resturaunt.
Favorite place to people/celeb watch :) just met wyclef n the terrorist guy from the first rush hour! Lol
Use the north or south security lines instead of the main security line to potentially save time. Fewer people know about those.
Looking for healthy food? Go to fresh to go in concourse B, best airport food I've ever had.
For always delicious down-home southern food, try Paschals in the airport. I don't pass through Hartsfield without it. You won't be disappointed.
If you want your shoes shined, see the late shift guy in Concourse B. He is the best by far. The old guys on day shift are horrible.

If you gotta go to another concourse, the metro shuttle they have is fast, but it gets packed very quickly.

C42 is a good place to camp out in delta work stations to plug in and have some privacy for work travelers

The new PRE security line is quite good. Shoes/belt don't need to come off, laptops and liquids don't have to come out either.
Put everything that you can in your backpack, purse, or bag before you get to security so you shoes and/or laptop is the only thing you have to run through the scanner!
Catiria MendezSeptember 6, 2011This place is huge. Be careful with connecting flights. Can easily miss a flight if there are any delays. Try getting to Gate A32 from Gate B26. If you're a bad runner you're screwed!

Takes longer to clear security than to drive from Decatur, gas up the rental car & return it and get to security! Why so many people who have no idea what pre-✅ is here??? Never seen this phenomenon
All American Airlines flights arrive and depart out of the T Gates and have their own baggage claim. Save a lot of time and fly AA in and out of Atlanta if you can.

Patrick DevoreFebruary 7, 2014If you're not in a crazy hurry, take the train to the international terminal and go through security there. MUCH less of a wait.
Place feels like home. Flying out of concourse T gets you out quickly, but not a ton of food options. Hope that changes soon.
I have to thank my friend Peter for recommending One Flew South in Terminal E. It almost makes you look forward to a 3 hour layover.

Terminal C. Eat at the "Fresh, Healthy Cafe." One of the only places in the airport with healthy food.

Jake RedmanMarch 3, 2016"The Club" in the F terminal is a good buy-in lounge value compared to paying your way into a SkyClub...just painful if you're flying from far away terminals.
Never pay full price for airtran fares, there are always sales if you plan right... goes for delta as well since they follow airtran's rates
Make sure you arrive by 9 pm to use TSA Precheck or Clear. It closes after.
Airport has everything, which is good. If the weather is bad, you are gonna be there for awhile.
You've got to try the Market Salad at Fresh to Order in Concourse B!

There are a TON of smoking areas, but not ONE children's play area. Guess people are more worried about smokers getting cranky on flights than babies.
Try the Cuban sandwich at Boar's Head in Terminal A. You won't be disappointed.
