The NEW international Terminal F operations SUCK if you land at the old terminal and have to get to the new one.
For a good meal, try One Flew South in terminal e - pork belly sliders...YUM
People gripe this airport is too big, yet it's about the easiest to get around for its size.

Loiter near A-Bar between gates A29 and A28 and use their free unrestricted WiFi.
Expect to do a lot of walking with your luggage. LOL Duffle bags aren't fun to carry in this Airport!
Check out the cell phone waiting area only on South terminal
Take "A Walk Through Atlanta History" between Concourses B and C
Shelley GrayApril 17, 2014It's ok as far as airports go. You pay fir wi fi unless you only want to view airline sites (if you're already at the airport would you to view airline websites???)
The Atlanta Airport has some of the friendliest employees! Not.
If you're flying Delta go for the mobile boarding pass. A lot of the time you can go in front of the line.
If your flight gets delayed head down to terminal E and try One Flew South, by far the best restaurant in the airport
Remember to treat ppl the way you want and deserve to be treated.
Massive & clean. Don't wait for the train if only going 1 terminal: just walk. The brushed steel column covers give a modern look.
Lots of Delta flights, not much else. Sky Club in Concourse E has showers for red eye flights.
Checkers in concourse B foodcourt has turkey bacon and sausage on their breakfast sandwiches.
Make sure your airline gives you enough time to make your connecting flight. Straight to my gate with only 2 minutes to spare
If u have time...long walk to baggage claim but a great Zimbabwe rock sculpture exhibit... good stuff!
Try Cafe Intermezzo bistro for a real Euro cafe getaway! Concourse B
- Alaa ShakerSeptember 9, 2014Seating at the gates is very, very limited (20-30 seats?). Crash on the floor or prepare to stand for a long time.
if you're on Sprint, don't plan on using your data... turn it off and save your battery.
Daily and hourly parking closed. Beware and plan for extra time.

Will someone please explain why flights to Atlanta from Tampa are more expensive than flights to NY from Tampa when ATL is only a little over an hour flight. It doesn't really make sense.
Avoid D gate food...stop at B, get a bite and then get to your gate.

JeannieAugust 6, 2012There is another TSA checkpoint at the north terminal if your flight leaves from a T gate. Lines may be shorter there.
Pete SAugust 17, 2014Eat before you go to the international terminal. Dining choices there are extremely limited.
Watch out for the "hurry carts" - they'll run you over when it's busy.

It is ALWAYS SUPER hot in here. Get ready to shed some layers once you land.
