- WyngspanJanuary 22, 2014Have you checked out a show at the House of Blues? Give them a rating on Wyngspan:
http://bit.ly/1jomSo3 - Jeremy KrantzSeptember 24, 2014No cameras allowed. Don't even try, they'll take it and/or won't let you in
- I wish they had more light beer. I also hate how their shows end at like 10
- Bonnie ChenMay 26, 2014Security is super strict. Even when you get in, it seems like they are out to get you because they are constantly watching you. It's very uncomfortable.
- There's these stupid yellow lines around the venue and if you get caught stepping on one you'll need to move.
- Cindy NoneAugust 31, 2013If you are far from the stage, don't waste your time taking shaky video or blurry photos. Just watch the show and look on YouTube for better vids from people who were close.
- Matt McClureMarch 16, 2011House of Blues Boston........Dropkick Murphy's.......nuf said. I love this venue. Definately top 3 of all time.
- Get in the pit during a Dropkick Murphy's Saint Patrick's Day show.
- The second floor has the best views in the house. It's not always open, and sometimes requires an extra ticket, but it's worth a try.
- Melissa AucoinMay 16, 2011Stadium seating is great except the 1st/last few seats of rows A & B... your view is blocked by the railings!
- All drinks in the city are overpriced, can we stop hearing people complain about each bar individually and tackle the larger issue. The rents too damn high.
- Josh M. Is the best bartender here hands down. Look for the stud with the disco biscuits sweatbands on his arms.
- CandaceMarch 22, 2013This venue is horrendous. Bought general admission tickets and was forced to go to the mezz section. Also can't access the merch booth until after the show. Can't see anything.. Don't go here
- Derek ShowermanMarch 6, 2013Don't buy tix on the second or third floor - or you can't go down stairs to buy merch until after the show. Why?
- Jason StonehouseJanuary 29, 2011Remember your earplugs! They really love to over-amplify the performers here.
- Awesome friendly staff throughout the venue, very helpful!
- Sit at the bar if Patrick is working. He's very attentive and a GREAT BARTENDER!!!
- Donna LMay 8, 2011If you buy VIP seats, note the second digit of your seat number. This most likely indicates your actual row.
- Pete DoughtyJuly 28, 2012Great place before the game and watch the Lansdowne chaos from the balcony...
- Meh. I'll come here only if I have to. It seems to be getting a little better over the years, though. Doesn't look like Avalon was just gutted anymore.
- VH1July 21, 2010Spend $15 at the House of Blues Restaurant before the show and get into the music hall before everyone else. Kiss long lines goodbye. – Team Live Nation
- The bar is always nice and empty at all ages shows.
- don't get mezzanine tickets! and the black Crowes are kind of dumb. but still a fun place.
- A great way to see some great bands up, close, and personal.
- Go to the Gospel Brunch, Sundays at 10. Even if you don't dig Gospel music, the food is amazing.
- Mick ManagementJanuary 31, 2012Be sure to check out Walk the Moon when they open for the Kaiser Chiefs on March 6, 2012!
- Steve JuddMarch 29, 2010Stop by the little sausage stand after the show and listen to their sales pitch. It's funnier than most stand up I've heard.
- Sam BarberApril 26, 2011Earplugs were in the guys bathroom just to the left when walking in the main floor
- Josh RitterDecember 18, 2010Catch Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band at the HOB on February 11, 2011. Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit supports. Info and tickets at joshritter.com
- Taylor MurphyAugust 11, 2012grab a bite to eat at the HOB restaurant and get a % off if you have concert tickets!
- AllenGerritsenFebruary 9, 2011Check out the on-site restaurant at the House of Blues for dinner before the show.
- Beth MackenzieJune 2, 2014Stupid, pointless rules... If your license is expired, you can't drink here The girl at the door tried to say it's illegal... nope, only if you're driving, and even then it's only a fine.
- TSA has nothing on the amount of security/ticket checks we had to go through tonight. I think we were at about 10 total before we even sat down.
